WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission

The instructors that appear on the following pages have all met the requirements of the state of Washington to

provide the 8-hour initial armed certification training and qualifications as certified firearms instructors for Private

Security, Private Investigators, and Bail Bond Recovery Agents pursuant to RCW and WAC. Instructors with the

correct credentials and program issued photo ID are titled “Private Security Certified Firearms Instructors” pursuant

to WAC 139-37.

Instructors that do not comply with program policies and WAC can be removed from the program at any time.

Written complaints regarding instructors are to be sent via email to [email protected]. All complaints received

will be reviewed.

Instructors listed with Level 1 Scoped Rifle Instructor active status, may or may not be PS Certified Firearms

Instructors as not a required part of RCW or WAC.

Note: Some law enforcement and other PS Certified Firearms Instructors may not be found on this list for privacy

reasons. Please contact the WSCJTC via email at [email protected] to verify if the instructor is a valid PS

Certified Firearms Instructor.
