In 2007 he received the Peter L. and Clara M. Scott Award for Excellence in Engineering Education as well as Charles E. MacQuigg Outstanding Teaching Award. He is a Distinguished Member of ASCE and a Fellow of AAAS and IEEE. He has been a Keynote Lecturer at 85 research conferences held in 6 continents and 43 countries. He is featured in Buckeye Wall of Brilliance at the Ohio Union on the campus of The Ohio State University. Dr Adeli has been conferred Fellow by the American Neurological Association.
