In-situ methods: Photographic diary and the walking discussion

• Individuals taking photos around a public space + taking notes: • When? Where? Why?
Suggestion for improvement?
• Disposable vs. digital camera → need flexibility
• Unique engagement with the surrounding environment
• Reflection & imagination• Increased focus• Captures what is important
to participants• Balanced comments• Images as evidence• Accompanying text
