Strict procedures have been established

for incoming inspection. For each product,

instructions are available that describe

how they must be inspected on entry and

how to handle rejects. Clear procedures

have been established for preservation

and storage in our warehouse. To benefi t

incoming inspection, a metrological

department has been set up where

product-specifi c measurements and checks

are made. Our purchasing strategy is based

on long-standing partnerships with leading

manufacturers so we can guarantee

consistent quality. Our purchasing policy

is aimed at partnership with Western

European manufacturers. The quality

management system (QMS) of PK OEM

Parts is certifi ed according to the ISO 9002:

2008 standard. Yearly an notifi ed body

audits the QMS.

For every order the software program

produces a pick list indicating where each

part is located in the warehouse. Using this

pick list, orders can be compiled in a fast,

efficient and error-free way. Attention is

also given to parts available in different

executions. These parts are located

throughout the warehouse in different

places so that picking of the right execution

is guaranteed. To ensure that parts are

delivered to the customer in good condition,

a great deal of attention is given to the

method of packing and the packaging

itself. Customer-specific requirements in

terms of packaging and packing methods

are recorded in our customer information

system and automatically printed on the

pick list.

Over the years we have built up a wide range of OEM parts suitable for Wärtsilä diesel engines series 46, 32 and Vasa 32 and Westfalia separators. All parts are stocked in our modernly equipped warehouses in Dordrecht where special attention is paid to optimal storing conditions.

Along with our high-quality OEM parts, we give a 12-month guarantee after delivery. this guarantee is valid when parts have been installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and that the installation itself is run under normal operational conditions as given by the manufacturer.

If any guarantee issues arise, the parts

concerned should be returned to us for

inspection and when a guarantee claim

is accepted the parts concerned will

be replaced free of charge. Should any

consequential damage occur as the clear

result of a defect in our parts, we are liable

within the terms of our third party liability

insurance policy. In such a case an expert,

assigned by our insurance company, will

eventually investigate the matter right

there and then.

To carefully balance the interests of our

customers and ourselves, all quotations,

orders and contracts are subject to the

Metaalunie conditions.
