Activity 2 : What am I?

Aim: To enable pupils to match the words to the pictures.

Precedure:

1. Teacher shows the word cards, pupils read the words aloud.

2. Teacher paste pictures on the board.

3. Pupils match the words to the pictures.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 but by adding a new words (sharpener, scissors)

Activity 3 : Complete me!

Aim: To enable pupils to know the sentence pattern.

Procedure:

1. Teacher shows phrase card

2. Pupils repeat after the teacher.

3. Teacher shows pictures and word cards from previous activity.

4. Teacher shows one picture.

5. Pupils join the phrase card with the correct word card associated with the picture

shown by the teacher.

6. Teacher stress that to complete the sentence we must put full stop.

(prepare full stop card)

7. Repeat with other pictures. (eg)

So, the complete sentence..

Procedure:

1. Teacher gives each group 4 sets of jumble words cards.

2. Teacher asks pupils to rearrang the cards.
