Write a postcard from an
expedition
Imagine you are on an expedition like Stella, Shay, Ethan and Beanie. Write a postcard using the template overleaf
to send home from your expedition.
Design the front of your postcard. For example, you could draw a scene from your expedition.
Next write a message on the back of your postcard. If you’re not sure what to write, try answering these questions:
• Where are you going on your expedition?
• What is the landscape and weather like there?
• What is your role on the expedition?
• Are you hoping to make any discoveries, and if so, what would you like to find?
Fill in the address of the person you want to send your postcard to.
Cut out both the front and the back of the postcard and stick them together or on either side of a piece of card to complete your postcard.
