Before starting the physicalinstallation, note the PrintServersDefault Name, which is located onthe bottom of the PrintServer.

A Plug one end of the Ethernetnetwork cable into the

PrintServers LAN port.

B Connect the other end to yournetworked hub, switch, orrouter.

C Use the USB cable to connectyour USB printer to thePrintServers USB port.

D Use the parallel printer cable(not included) to connect yourparallel printer to thePrintServers parallel port.

E Power on your printer.

F Plug the power adapters cordinto the PrintServers Power port.

G Plug the power adapter intoan electrical outlet.

Linksys recommends that you set upyour printer and install your printersdriver before you install thePrintServers driver.

A On thePrint Server Driver SetupWelcomescreen, click Next.

B On the Choose DestinationLocationscreen, select thelocation where the driversfolder will be installed. If you

want the folder to be installedin a different location, clickBrowseand select thelocation. Click Next.

C The Select Program Folderscreen will appear. An icon willbe added to the programfolder listed. If you want, youmay change the name of theprogram folder. Click Next.

D After the driver is installed, theSetup Completescreen willappear. Make sure ConfigurePrint Driver nowis selected.Click Nextto end the driverinstallation and begin the driverconfiguration.

I On the Wireless SecuritySettingsscreen, select a levelof WEP encryption, 64 Bit Keysor 128 Bit Keys. Then enter aPassphrase to automaticallygenerate a WEP key.

If you would like to enter yourWEP key manually, leave thePassphrasefield blank andenter the WEP key on the nextscreen.

Click Next.

J If you used a Passphrase, thena WEP key will appear on thefollowing screen. Otherwise,enter your WEP key in theKey 1field. Click Next.

K On the Confirmationscreen,make sure your settings arecorrect. ClickYesto save yournew settings.

L On the Congratulationsscreen, click User Install toinstall the PrintServers driver.
