“Small Wind “ Energy MarketAmerica’s quest for
renewable alternative energy has placed WPS in the right place at
the right time with the right
product.
WPS has developed
a Patent Pending
alternative energy vertical axis low
wind turbine.
Capable of producing renewabl
e & consistent energy with as
little as a 4 mph breeze.
American Recovery & Re-
investment Act of 2009
places a significant emphasis
on renewable
energy technology deploymen
t. This Act
also allows businesses
& consumers to deduct from their tax liability 30% off
the installed cost of a
wind turbine.

Wind Power Systems ……..
A unique vertical axis wind turbine utilizing ‘Vortex-
Field Technology” that
is both compact and robust.
Designed to WPS specifications by engineers who sought to create a wind turbine system that would
be appropriate where traditional “propeller” type
turbines are not, particularly populated areas where electricity needs are
highest.
The Patent Pending Turbine based on
simple physics that solve many of the
drawbacks found in traditional turbine
design.

Wind Speed vs Power Output
www.WindPowerSystemsLLC.Com
The power available from the wind varies as the cube of the wind speed. If the wind speed doubles, the power of the wind (the ability to do work) increases 8 times.
For example, 10 MPH wind has one eighth the power of a 20 MPH wind. (10 x 10 x 10 = 1000 versus 20 x 20 x 20 = 8000)

AWEA Data American Wind Energy Association “Small Wind” Turbine Global Market Study: 2009
US Small Wind Market grows 78% in 2008Industry Secures Long-Term Federal Incentive
The US market for small wind turbines – those with capacities of 100 kW and under – grew 78% in
2008 with an additional 17.3 MW of installed capacity
Attributable to increased private equity investment that allowed manufacturing volumes to increase, particularly for the commercial segment of the market
Residential (1-10kW), was likewise driven by investment and manufacturing economies of scale, but also by rising electricity prices and a heightened public awareness of the technology
The industry projects 30-fold growth within as little as five years, despite a global recession, for a
cumulative US installed capacity of 1,700 MW by the end of 2013
Much of this estimated growth will be spurred by the new eight-year 30% Federal Investment Tax Credit passed by Congress in October 2008 and augmented in February 2009
