    CALLTOWORSHIP(from Psalm 18) Luke Woodcoc

One: For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God?

Many: the God who girded me with strength, and made my way safe.

One: He made my feet like the feet of a deer,

and set me secure on the heights. Many: God, you have given me the shield of your salvation,

and your right hand has supported me;One: You gave me a wide place for my steps under me,

and my feet did not slip. All: The Lord lives! Blessed be my rock,

and exalted be the God of my salvation!

SOLOO Master, Let Me Walk with Thee Paul Sjolund, b. 193Chuck Murphy, tenor

O Master, let me walk with Thee, in lowly paths of service free;tell me Thy secret; help me bear the strain of toil, the fret of care.

Help me the slow of heart to move by some clear, winning word of love;teach me the wayward feet to stay, and guide them in the homeward way.

Teach me Thy patience; still with Thee, in closer, dearer company,

in work that keeps faith sweet and strong, in trust that triumphs over wrong. In hope that sends a shining ray far down the futures broadening way;in peace that only Thou canst give, with Thee, O Master, let me live.

Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also more hato bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to sMy tooth is aching than to say My heart is broken.

    C.S. Lewis

When I pray for another person, I am praying for God to open my eyes so that I can seethat person as God does, and then enter into the stream of love that God already directstoward that person.

    Philip Yancey

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and letthem pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And theprayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Anif he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

    James 5:14-15
