INTRODUCTION

Dear friends,

It is a great honor for us that the 2016 World MMA Championship is held in Macau, China. First, I extend a warm welcome on behalf of all my colleagues from the China MMA Federation and sincere thanks to the attentions and supports by home and abroad friends in all circles to the MMA Championship in Macau!China is rich in natural resources and of an enormous population and five thousand years of culture, and the martial art tradition has a long history. Through several decades of rapid economic development after the reform and opening-up policy, China has significantly increased its comprehensive national strength, and is playing an important role in both import and export trade and world economic development. MMA is an sunrise industry in China. Under the strong supports by the Chinese government, all our colleagues from the China MMA Federation will fully and rationally utilize the domestic natural advantages and policy advantages to vigorously develop the Chinese market and excavate the great MMA potential in China.For the world MMA championship to be held in Macau, China this year, we will follow the principle of “Fair, Impartial and Open” as always to host a spectacular event with the world influence and important historic significance.

WELCOME TO MACAUMacau is a special administrative region in China, which is adjacent to Zhuhai to the north, facing Wanzai and Hengqin of Zhuhai to the west and 60 kilometers away from Hong Kong to the east with the Pearl River Estuary in the middle. Macau is a free port, as well as one of the four world major casinos. After return to China on December 20, 1999, Macau’s has experienced a rapid economic increase and become more prosperous than former days, which is a successful model for the “One Country, Two System” policy. Its famous light industry, gourmet, tourism, hotel and casino maintain an economic boom for Macau, and Macau has become the most developed and the richest region in Asia. In addition, Macau has the highest population density in the world.

The Historic Centre of Macau is a historical block with a center of the old Macau city, which consists of over 20 historical buildings and adjacent squares and streets, and was listed in the World Cultural Heritage List in 2005, including Mazu Temple, Moorish Barracks, Largo do Lilau, Casa da Cheang, Igreja de So Loureno and St. Joseph's Convent and the Church. The Historic Centre of Macau has been preserved up to now, and witnessed the fusion and harmonious coexistence of eastern and western cultures in Macau over 400 years. Leisurely wandering in the Historic Centre of Macau, you will find many splendid world places of interest, and know the rich histories contained in these buildings and squares.

REGULATIONS World MMA Championship is carried out in accordance with the rules and requirements of World MMA Association. Individual-team competitions are held in 7 weight categories with individual-team classification among the participating countries.

The drawing procedure will be done in SportData system as a blind drawing.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES - Determination of the strongest sportsmen and team of the World;- Development and promotion of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) worldwide;- Improvement of judges and coaches qualification and sportsmen level of training - Involvement of different groups of people in active lifestyle;- Expansion of cooperation in the sphere of development of MMA in the world

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPANTS AND CONDITIONS OF THEIR ADMISSION Sportsmen aged 18 years before the start of the competitions and older, registered in SPORT ID system, with the level of training (not less than 2 years) in any Contact, Power or Mixed Martial Arts, who had been training for at least 12 months, registered by the Team Representative and medically examined not earlier than 7 days before the competitions are allowed to take part in the competition.Participating team consists of 8 people, 7 sportsmen, one per each weigh category and 1 coach / team representative.

The following documents shall be provided to the Championship Credentials Committee:Credentials Committee has the authority to review the applications and either approve or disapprove the admission. -- Application in a standard form from the National Federation with obligatory presence of duly sealed signatures of the Head of Federation, Coach and Doctor;- Identification documents;- A completed competitor’s card with acknowledgement (Annex No. 1,2,3)- Certificates on HIV and Hepatitis B and C (originals).- Health insurance policy and insurance contract (original) for this competition;- National anthem on the CD shall be sent to the email address: cmmaf@cmmaf.com, national flag.In order to have equal starting opportunities for sportsmen the Panel of Judges is entitled to demand the participants to undergo doping control procedures during or after the competitions. Where a participant or team representative refuses to undergo doping control procedures the participating team is not allowed to compete and is disqualified.

COMPETITION FORM AND EQUIPMENT OF SPORTSMEN  According to the Rules of the competition, sportsmen must wear long or short fight shorts and use protective equipment:• white open finger lace-up gloves of at least 5 ounces (blue or red tape or plaster shall be wound around the wrist);• protective mouth piece for teeth;• bandage to protect the groin;• shin guards.Head gear at Mixed Martial Arts MMA Imperia may be used in at will.Sportsmen at the age of 18 to 21 years old must use a protective helmet. In this case, his opponent must also wear a protective helmet.Sportsmen compete without shoes.All equipment for the sportsmen taking part in the World Championship shall be certified by WMMAA.

REGULATION OF THE BOUTS  Preliminary bouts: if more than 16 sportsmen are registered in the weight category, all fights to 1/8 Finals consist of 1 round of 3 minutes. If the fight ends in a draw, the victory goes to the sportsman who has received the last effective score.From 1/8 finals duels are held: 2 rounds of 3 minutes each (60 seconds rest between rounds with chairs). In exceptional cases an additional extra round may be added if the first two rounds ended in a draw.Finals consist of 2 rounds of 5 minutes each, 60 seconds rest with chairs. In exceptional cases an additional extra round may be added if the first two rounds ended in a draw.The winner is determined in accordance with the Rules of Competition approved by WMMAA.SUMMING UP Individual-team competitions, they are held in accordance with the “Official Rules of Mixed Martial Arts Competitions” approved by WMMAA, including revisions, additions and clarifications of certain clauses thereto. Competitions are held according to the Olympic system (with 2 Third places), in seven weight categories:

Team placing is determined by the maximum amount of points in individual classification of team members:

5th place is taken by the participant, who lost to the champion in the quarterfinals, 6th place is taken by the participant, who lost to silver medalist in the quarterfinals and 7th place is taken by the participant, who lost to bronze medalist.    AWARDING OF WINNERS  Championship winners in individual competition and prizewinners of championships who took 2-nd and 3-d places in individual competitions are awarded with medals, diplomas and special prizes; coaches who trained champions are awarded with medals and diplomas. Teams taken 1, 2 and 3 places are awarded with cups and diplomas.

FINANCING TERMSThe following financial responsibilities are assigned to the host country:- to provide accommodation to WMMAA Executives and honorable guests;-to secure arrival, accommodation and departure as well as guaranteed payment to the international judges board and referees ; - to provide accommodation to all contestants, their coaches and team representatives(HOTELS AT LEAST 3 ***preferably not far from the venue) ;-to transfer the contestants from their accommodation venue to and from the weighing and competition venue and back to their accommodation venues:-to organize and hold Credential committee, and weigh in procedure;- to ensure payment of the judges;- to provide medical surveillance at the tournament(2 teams of sports doctors or traumatologists, at least 2 emergency cars,1 reanimation Car );- to ensure law Enforcement and security at the venue;- to set up the advertising campaign;- to rent venue;- to provide the ring and sports equipment;- to provide premium awarding products, gifts and prizes to winners;- to organize photo and video shooting, sound and light equipment for the competition.-to provide broadcasting through European satellite Eutel Sat E7A(or equipment);-the Championship should be organized, held and shoot in accordance with the highest international standard with a minimum of 6 cameras working in HD format and quality;

Participating teams (athletes, coaches) shall bear expenses for preparation of entry documents (visas), meals and travel to the host country and back.

Suggested itineraryThere are two ways to go to Macau:1. Fly to the Macau International

Airport; (As the Macau International Airport is small, most flights are expensive, and therefore it is not recommended to directly fly to the Macau International Airport.)

2. Arrive in Macau by ferry after flying to the Hong Kong International Airport.

(1) Fly to the Hong Kong International Airport;

(2) Get off the plane at the Hong Kong International Airport without going through immigration;

(3) Go to Mainland/Macau Ticketing Counter according to the airport sign to buy the Hong Kong International Airport-Macau (Outer Harbour);

( 4 ) I n c a s e o f b a g g a g e registration, directly present the baggage tag (boarding pass) when you buy the ferry ticket, and staff will immediately collect the registered baggage and deliver it to the ferry; (Ticket checking machine can confirm the baggage status and you can collect it after you get off the ferry.)

(5) There is free shuttle bus (shuttle express) from the airport transfer area to the SkyPier;

(6) Arrive in Macau (Outer Harbour) by ferry.

1. Relevant visas may be applied for in local Chinese Embassy/Consulate, or landing visas may be handled in the visa rooms of frontier stations in case of entry upon arrival in Macau, and the landing visa requires that travelers have valid return tickets, entry visa permits for return to original regions and necessary subsistence resources in reserved stay period.2. The fee for an individual visa is MOP 100, and the longest stay period for the visa is 30 days, multiple arrivals and departures are allowed during the visa stay period.
