I hope you smiled on world smile day! It was last Friday on Oct. 7th! If you missed it, that’s alright – you can smile today! The goal is to help someone smile by delivering, “You’ve been smiled today” telegrams. Our class delivered these all around our school on Friday and our whole school was smiling on October 7th. The theme of this celebration was to do an act of kindness and help one person smile.

We can all appreciate Harvey Ball for inventing the smiley face in 1963. The smiley face is the most well-known symbol of good will and cheer. We know all about smiley faces as our teacher has over 1,000 smiley faces in our classroom and she is smiling every day. We hope you will be smiling too after you read what makes us smile. Keep smiling! :)
