- Single scanner is unacceptable for steam boilers above 1MW (100hp) and high temperature hot water boilers (HTHW)
- Dual scanner requirement- either scanner fails then the boiler shuts down
- Dual scanner requires UV or equivalent- Currently using UV and IR- Self-scanner required with maximum self-checking time of 5s

In the near future, all heavy oil burners need to be upgraded to operate on natural gas as the primary fuel curve, so a huge potential for Autoflame and Limpsfield
