Design, Fabrication & InstallationNance International provides design andengineering services for all air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The scope of work includes survey, analysis, load calculations, equipment specification,
piping, electrical, air distribution design, documentation, manual preparation and
job supervision.
Our fabrication managers backed by state-of-the art fabrication facilities work closely with the
design department in manufacturing one of a kind refrigeration/HVAC & Refrigeration
condensing and air handling units for marine/offshore applications. Custom built to your
specific requirements, these rugged systems will meet the most stringent standards for
hazardous/non-hazardous, and air or water cooled (fresh/saltwater) applications.
In addition, all systems undergo a complete and fully documented FAT
(factory acceptance test) prior to delivery.

custom HVAC & Refrigeration design and fabrication of marine air conditioners,

Retrofits & R-22 Compliance Nance International are experts in helping you comply with legislation.
Under the Montreal Protocol (MP) it has been illegal since January 2010 for
EU-flagged* vessels to top-up a refrigeration system using virgin HCFC refrigerants,
of which R-22 is the most commonly used.
Only reclaimed R-22 can be used on EU-flagged vessels until 2015 at which point
all HVAC & Refrigeration systems must use alternative approved refrigerants.
At Nance International our team of Retrofit experts can evaluate your system and
recommend the most economical solution for changing your R-22 system to maintain
performance and meet legislation.
For any HVAC & Refrigeration compliance enquiry on-board or offshore, anywhere in the
world, Nance International would be pleased to serve you.
All of Nance International's retrofit work is designed to be in compliance with and as
needed ABS/USCG/IEEE45/DNV/G/Lloyds SOLAS/Ul Equipment/ATEX specification.
Our services also include compliance to USA and title VI CAA 608 (Refrigerant Handling
and Transition) and F-Gas.
*In the United States of America only vessels constructed prior to 2010 are allowed to use a refrigeration
system using R-22.
