Introduction 1Welcome to the VMware Workspace ONE Boxer User Guide.

Workspace ONE Boxer offers you mobile productivity with enterprise-grade security.Workspace ONE Boxer containerizes business data from personal data providing frictionless access toenterprise email, calendar, and contacts across corporate-owned devices and BYODs (Bring Your OwnDevice). You can personalize Workspace ONE Boxer to meet your needs with features like custom swipegestures, contact avatars, custom smart folders, and account color preferences. Workspace ONE Boxerwith its all-in-one email, calendar, and contacts feature provides an intuitive user experience followingnative design paradigms on Android devices.

From release v4.9, Workspace ONE Boxer supports IBM Notes Traveler v9.0.1 integration. IBM NotesTraveler integration introduces Email, Calendar, and Contacts capabilities in Workspace ONE Boxerusing ActiveSync protocol. Workspace ONE Boxer v4.9 or higher is required for the optimum functioningof email, calendar, and other features. IBM Notes Traveler is not supported when you upgrade fromWorkspace ONE Boxer v4.8 or older versions.

Privacy and Data SharingA Privacy Notice and a Data Sharing notice is displayed to all users when logging intoWorkspace ONE Boxer.

Privacy NoticeA Privacy Notice (scrolling enabled) is displayed to all users when logging into Workspace ONE Boxer.

The Privacy Notice displays the following information:

n Data collected by the app – Provides a summary of data that is collected and processed by theapplication. Some of this data is visible to the administrators of the Workspace ONE UEMadministration console.

n Device Permissions – Provides a summary of device permissions requested for the app to enableproduct features and functionality, such as push notifications to the device.

n Company's Privacy Policy – By default, a message is displayed for you to get more information aboutyour company. When configured by your administrator, tap Your Company’s Privacy Policy to accessyour employer’s privacy policy information within Workspace ONE Boxer.

Data SharingWorkspace ONE Boxer displays a Data Sharing notice that can be used to opt-in to anonymous featureusage analytics that help VMware improve product functionality and invent new product capabilities.

When disabled, the data sharing notice is not displayed, and no data is collected from the device tooptimize the app experience. You can enable or disable data sharing by navigating to Settings > Privacy> Data Sharing.

Add Managed AccountsConfigure your managed account in Workspace ONE Boxer.

Based on the configuration set by your administrator and when you launch the app for the first time, youare presented with the Workspace ONE Boxer screen to perform any one of the following actions:

Prerequisites

After enrolling your device to Workspace ONE UEM through Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub or AirWatchContainer, you can configure your managed account in Workspace ONE Boxer.

Procedure

1 Enter your password to access emails.

2 Tap Continue button to access emails.

3 You can also configure Workspace ONE Boxer application without AirWatch Agent or AirWatchContainer through Standalone Enrollment, where you need to download and install theWorkspace ONE Boxer from Google Play Store and then enter your email address and VMwarecredentials (such as Username, Password, Server URL, and Group ID) to access emails.

When adding an account for the first time:

Procedure

1 Enter a valid email address in the text box.

2 Select Next.

3 Enter the enrollment username and password in the text box and then select Next.

Standalone Enrollment without Auto-DiscoveryPerform the Standalone Enrollment without Auto-Discovery.

Follow the instruction:

Procedure

1 Enter a valid email address in the text box and select Manual Setup.

2 Select VMware AirWatch from the list.

3 Select Server URL and enter the Server URL in the text box.

4 Select Group ID and enter the Group ID In the text box.

5 Select Next.

6 Enter the enrollment username and password in the text box and select Next.

Add Unmanaged AccountAdd multiple personal accounts.

Based on the configurations set by your administrator, you can add multiple personal accounts. You canalso manually setup IMAP accounts, if an account type or domain cannot be auto-configured.

When adding an account for the first time:

1 Enter a valid email address in the single text field (or email domain).

2 Select one of the two options: Next or Manual Setup.

2 Tap Next.

Workspace ONE Boxer attempts to determine the account type based on the email domain.

a If the account type is determined, you can enter the password for the account in Workspace ONEBoxer’s own interface.

b After password submission, Workspace ONE Boxer verifies the credentials with the relevantserver for validation. If validated, the account gets added to the Workspace ONE Boxer and youare navigated to the Workspace ONE Boxer’s mail view.

What to do next

If the account type cannot be determined, you are asked to select an account manually to performmanual setup. For more information, refer Perform Manual Setup.

Procedure

1 Enter a valid email address.

2 Tap Manual Setup to view the list of available account types.

3 Choose the required account type from the list. The selected account type determines the screen tobe displayed next.

n If you choose Outlook, the relevant web view is presented to enter your email address andpassword for authentication. Upon Outlook server authentication, server requests you to grantpermission to access the account. Once granted, the account gets added toWorkspace ONE Boxer.

n If you choose any other account, you are required to enter the password for the account inWorkspace ONE Boxer’s interface. After submitting the password, Workspace ONE Boxerverifies the credentials with the relevant server for validation. If validated, the account gets addedto Workspace ONE Boxer.

n In the case of Exchange and Other as the account type, if the password cannot be verified ordisplays as incorrect, then additional setup options such as incoming/outgoing servers aredisplayed to you to provide more account setup information.

n You can add multiple accounts in Workspace ONE Boxer. To do this, navigate to Workspace ONEBoxer’s Boxer Settings > Add Account screen.

Enrollment Using PIV-D ManagerVMware PIV-D Manager is use to enroll into Workspace ONE Boxer.

If enabled by your administrator, you can use VMware PIV-D Manager to enroll intoWorkspace ONE Boxer. To enroll into Workspace ONE Boxer using PIV-D Manager, follow these steps:

Procedure

1 Enroll using Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub.

2 Install VMware PIV-D Manager.

3 Enter the enrollment credentials and select Next. Credentials activation message is displayed.

4 Launch Workspace ONE Boxer for secure access to your emails.

Workspace ONE Boxer Inbox 2You can manage and sort emails using features and functionalities available in theWorkspace ONE Boxer.

Inbox Mail ViewThe very first view of the app immediately after you configure email account is the Inbox mail view. Fromthis screen, you can perform various actions on emails and navigate to Calendar, Contacts, andSettings screen.

Action Icons Description

Top Banner Action Icons

( ) Use the Menu ( ) icon to access the slide-out navigationpane to view Workspace ONE Boxer folders and configuredemail account.

( ) Access the Search Bar ( ) (at the top of the Inbox or any ofthe folders you are in) to search and filter emails by From, To,Subject, or ALL categories.

( ) Tap the Overflow ( ) icon to refresh Inbox folders, to select allemails, and to access app settings.

Pull down the screen from the top banner to manually sync the app with the server and to refresh folders.

Bottom Banner Action Icons

nUse the Compose ( ) icon to create new email messages instantly from the main screen.

n Access Calendar and Contacts to view, create, and edit the details, Internal File Viewer to view and edit all the downloadedattachments from emails, and Settings to configure and modify the app settings.

Note Based on your admin’s app configurations, you can view and edit attachments within Workspace ONE Boxer Internal Fileviewer as well as open attachments outside the Workspace ONE Boxer.

Swipe Actions

Select single or multiple messages and swipe to the left or to the right to take required actions using the Actions grid ( ).

Zoom and Pan Feature

Tap open an email and zoom in the email content or any embedded images. This feature allows you to read email content withincreased font size and see more details of an image.

S/MIME Signed and Encrypted EmailsYou can differentiate between normal emails and S/MIME enabled emails from the Inbox List view.S/MIME enabled emails are displayed with S/MIME icons within the Inbox List view.

Icon Description

The email is signed with S/MIME certificate.

The email iss encrypted using S/MIME.

The email is signed and encrypted using S/MIME.

Combined foldersWhen you have multiple accounts, the mail menu bar combines Trash, Unread and Sent.

Email ManagementWith Workspace ONE Boxer, sorting, creating, and managing emails are fast and simple. You canperform a variety of actions such as sending quick replies through response templates, customizing swipegestures, setting due dates, and priority level to a message, and much more.

Swipe ActionsPerform certain actions on your emails with just a finger swipe.

Table 2‑1. The default swipe actions set on Workspace ONE Boxer are listed down.

Swipe Action Definition

Right Short SwipeSwipe right to select an action from the Actions Grid ( ) toperform on the email.

Right Long Swipe

Swipe to the extreme right to view the To-do ( ) iconand set a due date and a priority level for an email.

Left Short swipe

Swipe left to Archive ( ) a selected email.

Left Long Swipe

Swipe to the extreme left to Delete ( ) an email.

Note The administrator can change the default swipe actions. If the swipe action for Archive is disabledby the administrator, the default archive action is replaced by Flag.

Customize Swipe ActionsYou can change the Workspace ONE Boxer default swipe actions to best fit your needs.

To change the settings:

1 Select app settings.

2 Select Swipe actions from the Mail section.

3 Select the desired action for the available swipe actions.

Action Grid

The Action Grid ( ) is available on the top banner of the Inbox view when you select single or multipleemail(s), or when you swipe along the email or on the top banner within the email screen.

While the Action Grid is tap opened, you can hold on any action and move its position within the grid.

Note If Archive and Spam are disabled by the administrator, the respective options are not displayed.

Available Grid Actions Definition

Set a due date and priority level to a message and set theassignee to the email. The emails with To-do action get savedin the To-do folder. Use the To-do filter to sort emails in the To-do list by date, priority, due, and assignee. Optionally, you candrag and drop emails into the different groups to change thepriority, due date, or assignee.

Send a canned response to someone just by a single tap. Usethis option to reply to a message without having to open theemail. Tap on the kind of response you want to send, and theresponse is sent immediately. You can modify the existingresponse or create a new response.

Archive the selected email message. To archive message andto set it as read, access the app Settings icon, and tap More inthe Mail section. Turn On the Archive as read option.

Delete the selected email.

Move the selected email to the spam folder.

Mark the email as Star or Flag to indicate importance.

Mark the email as read or unread.

Perform Bulk ActionsPerform bulk actions on multiple emails using the following action icons available on the Inbox mail viewscreen.

Icons Definition

Tap on avatar images to select single or multiple emails.

Select to delete, archive, or to move the selected emails.

Upon selecting email(s), tap the SELECT icon to perform thefollowing actions:n Action Grid – Select an action from the Action Grid.n Select All – Select all the Inbox emails.n Select all from sender – If a sender’s email is selected on

the Inbox screen, use this option to select all the latestemails from that sender.

n Select none – Deselect the selected email.

x Deselect the selected emails.

App Shortcut ActionsCreate app action shortcuts on the home screen.

Tap hold the Workspace ONE Boxer application on the home screen either to create app action shortcutson the home screen or to directly launch the app actions. App Shortcut actions are supported only ondevices using Android OS v7.1 or later.

Tap hold the Workspace ONE Boxer application to pop up the Quick Actions menu listing out thesupported app shortcut actions:

n Compose – Either create a shortcut for the Compose Email page on the device home screen ordirectly access it from the Quick Actions menu.

n Create New Event – Either create a shortcut for the Create New Event page on the device homescreen or directly access it from the Quick Actions menu.

n View Calendar – Either create a shortcut for the Calendar page on the device home screen ordirectly access it from the Quick Actions menu.

View EmailsTap a single email to open and read the message.

You can also tap hold an email message on the Inbox list view to see a preview and then press longer toopen the email message. Use the available options on the app bar to perform various actions.

Icon Definitions

Move back to the Inbox folder view.

Delete* email from the Inbox.

Move the unimportant emails to Archive* folder.

Move the email to your selected folder.

Use the Action Grid to perform other actions on an email.

Flag the email to find it quickly in the email list or to displayunder the Flagged folder.

Reply to the sender, replay to all senders, forward an email,flag an email, mark an email as unread, delete an email.

Indicates that the email is Information Rights Management(IRM)-enabled. Tap to view the IRM security policies orrestrictions along with other details of restrictions applied onthe email.

Tap the icon to download attachments from the email. View allthe downloaded attachments from the Files ( ) tab. Allattachments opened withinWorkspace ONE Boxer are read-only.

View emails larger than 200KB.

Note *Based on the screen size, actions such as Archive, Delete, Read/Unread, or Move are availableon the top banner of the screen.

Viewing IRM-enabled EmailsYou can view and send IRM-enabled emails only if your exchange server has Active Directory RightsManagement. Services (AD RMS) / Information Rights Management (IRM) enabled. An IRM enabled

email is highlighted with the icon and you are restricted or permitted to do any of the followingsecurity actions:

n Edit

n Reply

n Reply All

n Forward

n Copy-Paste

n Modify recipients

n Extract

n Print

n Export

n Content Expiry Date

An attempt if made to perform any of the above action on email that has all such restrictions enforced,displays a notification stating that the action is restricted by IT policy applied by sender.

Other Featuresn Press and hold an email message to copy and paste it into the application.

n If restricted by your administrator, you cannot copy data from the Workspace ONE Boxer applicationand paste anywhere outside the application.

n Workspace ONE Boxer supports accessibility features such as Text to Speech. Enable WorkspaceONE Boxer in the device Accessibility or Text to Speech settings on your device to read out theinformation that is on your screen.

n If enabled by your administrator, you can copy data from outside the application and paste into theWorkspace ONE Boxer application.

n If your email message has contact number details, tap hold on the number to immediately dial it.

n If restricted by your administrator, attachments may open through the VMwareWorkspace ONE Content and other VMware approved apps. Hyperlinks may open only through theWorkspace ONE Web.

n If configured by your administrator, you can preview emails and their attachments withinWorkspace ONE Boxer.

a On the attachment preview screen, the Share icon is unavailable. When you tap the Share icon, atoast message displays Disabled by your admin.

n After performing an action on an email while viewing it, you can have Workspace ONE Boxer eitheradvance to the next message, the previous message, or return to the conversation list. This settingcan be configured from Mail settings (navigate to Settings > Mail > More mail settings > AutoAdvance).

Compose EmailsCreate a new email message.

Select the Compose icon ( ) in the top-right corner of the screen to create a new email message. Tapthe icons to perform actions or access additional functionality. If configured by your administrator, Boxerdisplays a warning when adding recipients from external domains, select ‘Proceed’ to send the email orselect ‘Cancel’ to return to the Compose menu. Workspace ONE Boxer displays a Warning messagewhen sending emails and meeting invites to invalid email addresses. Select ‘Send’ to continue the actionor ‘Cancel’ to return to the Compose menu.

Note Note: If enabled by your administrator, you can use third-party keyboards withinWorkspace ONE Boxer.

Icons Definitions

Move back to the Inbox folder view.

Send an email.

Tap to discard the message or to save it as a draft in the Draftfolder to send later or to access app settings.

Tap and choose the IRM policies that you want to enforce onemail while sending.

Icons Definitions

Tap to:n Send Availability – Send your availability including date

and time. From the calendar view, select the date and timewhen you are available. Upon selection, a box listing theselected date and time is inserted into the email body.

n Create Invite – Workspace ONE Boxer displays theCalendar event create screen. The complete calendarevent functionality is supported. The email subject,recipients, attachments, and email body are displayed asthe calendar event name, invitees, attachments, and notes.Once the recipients are added, send the invitation to all therecipients. Once the invite is sent, Workspace ONE Boxerdisplays Email List view. When an event is created oredited, Workspace ONE Boxer displays the availabilitystatus of your recipients. For more information, seeFree/Busy Lookup. The event gets added to your calendar.

Tap to insert quick responses into the message body whilecomposing emails. Navigate to Settings > Mail > QuickTemplates to edit or add new quick responses.

Attach photos, documents, audios, and videos from yourdevice or from Cloud Drives. The default behaviorofWorkspace ONE Boxer is to send attachments of any size. Ifthe attachment is too large, then the ‘Unable to send one ormore message. An attachment is too large to be processed’error displays and the email is saved in your Outbox. Ifrestricted by your administrator, you cannot attach files fromphoto gallery and third-party sources.

If S/MIME is enabled and the certificates are installed on yourdevice, tap to sign the emails sent from the device.

If S/MIME is enabled and the certificates are installed on yourdevice, tap to encrypt emails sent from the device.

Enable email classification using security levels. For example,the following classifications can be configured in the increasingorder of security:n Confidentialn Protectedn Restrictedn Secret

When enabled, the email subject, header, and footer have theselected classification tag. Email classification can be doneonly in the increasing order of security. For example, an emailsent with ‘Secret’ classification (highest) cannot be replied witha classification lower than ‘Secret’.

Press and hold the content to cut, copy, paste, or replace the selected term or the content.

Mark External AddressesWhen creating a calendar event, external email addresses in the recipient list are highlighted in red with ared dot.

You can view the recipient availability without editing the event.

Procedure

1 Tap on the invitees to enter the Free/Busy lookup menu.

2 If enabled by your administrator, Workspace ONE Boxer displays the notification Send Invite toExternal Addresses when sending invite to recipients with external addresses.

3 Confirm the notification to send invite to attendees with external email addresses. The Mark ExternalAddresses feature is also available when you are creating or editing Calendar events.

Combined Mail BoxesWorkspace ONE Boxer merges common mail folders found in all email accounts into a single combinedmail box.

The default Combined mail boxes are Inbox, Flagged, and Unread.

Boxer allows both IRM and Email Classification when composing an email.

To customize combined mail boxes:

Procedure

1 Select Edit option.

2 Tap Add Custom Box and select the required folder from any email account.

3 Tap Background sync to sync the selected folders.

4 Tap Done to save the changes.

If Boxer app is configured with Outlook account, you can view Workspace ONE Boxer and Boxer To-dofolders in your Outlook, similarly you can view them in all your other configured accounts.

Folders like trash, unread and sent are combined for multiple accounts.

Settings 3Tap the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom action banner to access Workspace ONE Boxer Settingspage.

AccountsChoose an account and perform the following:

n Signatures– Create unique email signatures for each account. The default signature is changed to‘Sent from Workspace ONE Boxer’.

n Quick responses – Edit or add quick response templates that you frequently insert when composingemail.

n Sync email/Sync calendar/Sync contacts – Enable or disable sync options based on yourrequirement.

n Notification Settings – Set up unique sound or ringtone for mail notifications and set the LEDnotification color.

n Account Color – Change account color in the color strip to the right of each email. Accounts havingunique colors help distinguish what account an email belongs to when viewed in Combined Mailboxes.

n S/MIME – Enable or disable S/MIME support. Install the Sign and Encrypt certificates provided byyour administrator to use email signing and encryption features. If enabled by your administrator, youcan view old emails that uses expired S/MIME encryption certificates. The expired S/MIME encryptioncertificates can be viewed under S/MIME > Encrypt.

n Mail synced for – Select a frequency by which you want your emails synced with the server.Unmanaged device users can now use the Sync All option to sync emails that are older than 30 days.

n Calendar synced for - Select a frequency by which you want your calendar synced with the server.Unmanaged device users can now use the Sync All option to sync calendar events that are older thansix months.

FeedbackSend feedback

n Send feedback to default VMware support email distribution list.

n Add an optional email address in the Email ID field to receive direct response from VMware supportteam.

n Describe your issue and attach screenshots. Add the required details and select Send to sharefeedback.

n View the logs from the Feedback menu by enabling Collect Logs for this Feedback option.

Mailn Swipe actions – Customize the default Swipe actions.

n More mail settings

n Show Compose Toolbar – You can enable or disable compose toolbar based on yourpreferences.

n Conversation Threading – You can toggle between conversation mode on and off to see the emailchains in the order you prefer. The default mode can be configured by your administrator.

n Show Avatars – You can enable or disable avatars on the email list view. The default mode isconfigured by your administrator.

n More Mail Settings > External Addresses

n Mark external addresses – When enabled, Workspace ONE Boxer highlights the externaladdresses in emails and calendar events in red with a red dot. If configured by your administrator,the setting is enabled by default and cannot be disabled from Workspace ONE Boxer.

n Do Not Mark (Required) – Enter the external email addresses that you do not want to behighlighted (in red with a red dot) by Workspace ONE Boxer. When enabled by youradministrator, the Do Not Mark list is configured by your administrator and the list cannot beedited.

n Confirm before sending – When enabled, Workspace ONE Boxer displays a warning when yousend emails and invites to recipients with external email addresses. When configured by youradministrator, you cannot disable the warning displayed by Workspace ONE Boxer.

CalendarSet the default calendar, enable or disable device calendars, and configure the Alert (or notification) time.Disabling Device Calendar prevents Workspace ONE Boxer from syncing device calendars. If localcalendars are disabled by your administrator, you cannot access device calendars withinWorkspace ONE Boxer.

ContactsConfigure how to display and sort your contacts in the application. If configured by your administrator, youmay see the option to enable and disable Caller ID functionality. If local contacts are disabled by youradministrator, you cannot access device contacts within Workspace ONE Boxer.

You can search for a contact in the Contacts tab and Compose email screen andWorkspace ONE Boxer automatically lists all matching contacts from your GAL.

Privacyn Privacy details – Displays the Workspace ONE Boxer privacy notice (scrolling enabled). When

configured by your administrator, you can access your company’s privacy policy from withinWorkspace ONE Boxer.

n Data Sharing – Changes the Data Sharing setting. When disabled, the data sharing notice is notdisplayed, and no data is collected from the device to optimize the app experience.

Othern Passcode – Configure passcode to access the application without entering username and password

on subsequent login

n Lock – You can lock the app immediately. You must provide the SSO passcode to unlock the app.TheLock setting is available only when the SSO passcode is enabled

n Debug –

n REFRESH AIRWATCH PROFILE – Fetch the Workspace ONE Boxer configuration changes.

n New conversation view– Tap to enable or disable the new conversation view.

Calendar and Contacts 4View, manage, and create calendar events from the Calendar ( ) tab.

CalendarTo enable calendar syncing, navigate to Settings > Accounts > Exchange > Sync Calendar in theBoxer appand enable Sync Calendar.

View Calendar EventsFrom the calendar screen, scroll through to view the synced calendar events.

Icons Definition

Search for events and invites.

Tap to pull down various options to:n Toggle between Agenda view (presents upcoming events

in a list grouped by dates), Day view, and Week view.n Refresh to sync calendar events.n Access app Settings.

Create new events.

(Optional) Tap and hold on any random date to create a newevent. Enter the required details in the respective fields. Theavailability of the recipients is shown (free or busy) when youare creating an event. The availability lookup feature is notsupported on Exchange 2007 and IBM Traveler servers.

Free/Busy LookupThe Free/Busy lookup feature provides information about the availability of the recipients.Workspace ONE Boxer displays the availability when creating or editing an event.

Following status are displayed by Workspace ONE Boxer:

n Recipient Available: Free, Tentative, or No data

n Recipient Unavailable: Busy or Out of Office

The availability of the recipients is also displayed when you edit an existing calendar event. You canpreview the recipient availability of the events created by you or someone else. If you are the eventorganizer, tap on the recipients to view and add people. If you are not the organizer of the event, tap onthe recipient list to view availability.

Note n Previewing recipient availability for events with duration less than thirty minutes is not supported.

n Distribution lists with more than 20 recipients is not supported. Workspace ONE Boxer displays amessage and you can continue adding recipients or return to the compose menu.

n If you are using email servers that do not support the status lookup feature, Workspace ONE Boxerdisplays ‘Fetching availability is not supported by your email server’ message.

n If you encounter network errors when previewing the availability of recipients, Workspace ONE Boxerdisplays ‘Issue while fetching availability’ message.

Add Calendar AttachmentsYou can add attachments when you are creating a calendar event.

Procedure

1 For enabling the calendar attachments feature, you must first tap the Enable new features from thenotification bar and then select Proceed.

The back-end services are upgraded to support the calendar attachment feature and a resync isrequired to fetch your emails.

2 To add a calendar attachment, select Add attachments when creating an event. If enabled by youradministrator, you can also view and download the attachments you receive as part of an invite.

Invitation CardsInvitation Cards are displayed in emails containing calendar attachments.

This cards contains basic details of the event including title, time, location, recurrence Information, andreply option to send to the event organizer.

Upon receiving the invite, you can do the following actions.

Icons Definition

Accept Accept your invites.

Maybe or Decline If you have conflicting events, tap and propose a new timewhile replying to the event organizer.

Perform necessary actions on the invite.

Shows the event date and time details.

Shows the event location.

Shows the number of attendees.

Shows your availability status for the event by displaying Freeor Busy.

Reply to send an attendance status to the event organizer.

Contacts

View your contacts from the Contacts ( ) tab.

To enable contact syncing, navigate to Workspace ONE Boxer Settings > Accounts > Exchange >Sync Contacts and enable Sync Contacts.

View ContactsUse the following table to understand the options available on Contact screen.

Options Definition

Favorites View your favorited contacts.

All View all your saved contacts.

Search for users or contacts by name in Global Address List.

Note Workspace ONE Boxer displays Active Directory (AD)user photos as the display picture for the contacts in GlobalAddress List.

Create new contacts.

GAL ContactsCreate and save contacts from the Corporate Global Access List (GAL) using the GAL contacts feature.

The GAL contacts feature is enabled by default and supports creating and saving contacts from Email,Calendar, and Workspace ONE Boxer Contacts. If configured by your administrator, you can perform aGAL search by entering a minimum of two, three, or four characters.

To create a new contact from GAL:

1Select the GAL contact and then tap ( ).

2 Enter the contact details and tap Save.

Caller ID FunctionalityWorkspace ONE Boxer applies Caller ID functionality to all your Workspace ONE Boxer contacts.

Based on your administrator, Workspace ONE Boxer applies Caller ID functionality to all yourWorkspace ONE Boxer contacts. This adds only the name and phone number of all theWorkspace ONE Boxer contacts to your native contacts app. Any changes you make to these contacts inthe native contacts app does not get reflected in Workspace ONE Boxer. If required, you can disableCaller ID functionality in Workspace ONE Boxer Settingsbynavigating to Settings > Contacts > CallerID.
