Inter Focus Courses - “The Labs”


Labs are difficult and mean a lot of work during the

semester

Failed labs are the main reason for drop-outs

Strong recommendation: Pass at least one lab within

one year. Remark: This point has been updated and differs from what has

been communicated in September 2017.

Advice: Take one lab each semester (and plan in enough

time)

Rule: You need to have passed two labs before getting a

working permit

Choose your tutor in mystudies:


Step 2 - Discussion

Discuss the Learning Agreement with your chosen tutor.


After the approval of your tutor submit your Learning

Agreement via www.mystudies.ethz.ch.

The Learning Agreement has to be submitted within four

weeks after the first semester has started.

Step 5 - Completion


The overall study duration including the Master’s thesis

may not exceed six semesters.

The completion of an internship during the Master’s

studies extends the maximal study duration by at most

one additional semester.

Classes always start a quarter past the full hour.

Classes stated to take place from 8 till 10 h (8-10)

Start at 8:15 h

Have in general a break from 9:00-9:15 h
