NUTRITION + YOGA with Lysa + Lisa Ditto for all the above minus the yoga teacher + photographer part! In addition, I am a Holistic Nutrition Coach and Registered Nurse. I believe in each person’s “inner nutrition wisdom” and consider it my role to help them cultivate this wisdom so they can make food choices that nourish their unique body. I love working with people to support them on their journey of shifting beliefs around food and body image. I also enjoy breaking down barriers to cooking with people and creating a safe, fun + creative environment in the kitchen. Most of all, my passion is to help people be their healthiest and happiest self! I have practiced yoga for over 15 years and took a Jivamukti based teacher training 7 years ago to become a yoga instructor. I enjoy getting outside every day and eating good meals. I enjoy learning about the human body. Being of service is essential to me. I find deep satisfaction guiding people to be more grounded through yoga. I’m committed to helping the world find their freedom. I believe in the human capacity to evolve, to grow, and to make the world a better place—even if it’s simply through our own revitalized presence. April 13th - Spring Cleanse + Renewal Let’s shed winter! Join us for this workshop that supports a 10 day cleanse and equips you with green juice and soup recipes, and a liver elixir to detox and embody spring. The yoga class will be restorative which will prepare you with some yoga poses and breath exercises to take home that will both complement and support you throughout the cleanse. April 27th - The Sweet Life Sukham in sanskrit means easeful, happiness, delight or joy. During this class we will sweeten our life with some lunar flow yoga to honor our yin or feminine side and also explore the main causes of sugar cravings and how to give our body what it truly needs- nourishment. If you have a “sugar habit” and would like to let it go, this class is for you. May 4th - Energy + Weightloss Find out how to best fuel your body for that extra spring in your step and learn what to avoid when you are interested in shedding a few pounds. In yoga, tapas translates to "fiery discipline." We will delve into a solar flow yoga practice fiercely focused, intensely committed to burn off the impediments that keep us from being in the true state of yoga. May 18th - Finding Balance + Making Time Managing work, feeding a family, keeping up with community service and your “to do” list while also maintaining a healthy diet and a yoga practice can be overwhelming. During our time together, we will explore how to incorporate daily yoga and food preparation rituals into your busy day to help keep you grounded when life gets crazy.
