For the third year running, Year Five were given the exclusive opportunity to design the poster for the annual Devizes

fireworks display, which is held at Devizes Town Football Club, run by Devizes Round Table. Our Chair of Governors, Mr David

Court (who is a member of the Round Table), judged the entries which were of an extremely high standard. We are pleased to announce that Emelia Taylor's design was chosen to feature on the 4000 flyers which will be landing on your doormats soon! The runners up, Olivia Blake and Daniel Pougher, will see their

designs featured on posters around the town. The children have won tickets to the display. Congratulations and well done to all

of the children who entered.

NetballOn Thursday 1st October we took 2 teams to Nursteed School for a Netball Tournament. Other schools taking part were Nursteed, All Cannings, Rowde and Bishops Cannings. The A team played 3 games and won 2 and lost 1 against All Cannings by one goal. Then we went on to play Nursteed A in the semi-final but lost 0-5. The B team won 2 and lost 2, playing each other twice, losing to Nursteed A but beating Bishops Cannings. They went on to play All Cannings in the semi-final but lost 1-3. Nursteed A were the overall winners. The A and B teams played off for 3rd and 4th place.Thank you to all the mums and dads for their support. We love the new kit.Rosie, Ella & Lani
