Details of Future Expansion with Remarks

Expansion scheme contemplated i n ­volves ins ta l l a t ion of machinery for recovery higher percentage of timber Veneers than now possible eliminating waste. Will also use synthetic glues increasing value and quality of plywood. Capable also prqducing decorative panels for general use. Anticipated produc­t ion risjing to 432,000 chests alone per annum in next 5 years and 250,000 squ. ft.! of ornamental plywood for decorative purposes.

Re-opening awaits negotiations on timber prices.

Expansion scheme in hand awaiting arrival of machinery including tank furnaces which will increase output substantially.

4. Private Glass Factory Swadeshi Ind­ustrial Works

1943 450 tons 450 tons Blown utility ware mainly tumblers bot­tles chimneys.

Understand Company proposes increas­ing present output to double. Have already installed one tank furnace. Managing Dirctor abroad with a view to finalising negotiations.

Cups saucers domestic crockery, vases fancy and ornamental ware.

Plans for renovation awaiting re­cruitment of expert. Also contem­plating erection of a new modern factory with electric furnaces. Ex­cellent raw material available for purpose.
