    Disassembly

    Remove the Window Back.

    Scrap! Adhesive Window Back is not to be reused.

    3.3 Tray Label & Label CoreUnit

     Add force toward bottom side and free the Tray Label withLabel Core Unit from the Cover Rear.

    Remove the Tray Label.

    3.4 Cover Rear 

    Unsnap the NFC Antenna connector by using the Nylonpointer.

    Remove the Screws in the sequence which shown in thepicture.

    Scrap! Screws are not to be reused.

    Disassembly

    Unhook the Cover Rear from the Front Cover.

    Remove the Cover Rear.

    Unsnap the Battery connector.

    3.5 Shield Camera

    Unhook the Shield Camera from the Front Cover.

    Remove the Shield Camera.

    Scrap! Shield Camera is not to be reused.

    3.6 Main Camera

    Unsnap the Main Camera connector.

    Remove the Main Camera.

    Disassembly

    3.7 Main PBA

    Unsnap the Jack FPC connector.

    Unsnap the LCD FPC connector.

    Insert the LCD FPC connector into the hole of the MainPBA.

    Remove the Screw.

    Scrap! Screw is not to be reused.

    Disassembly

    Detach the Vibrator from the Front Cover once.

    Unhook the Main PBA from the Front Cover.

    Lift up from the left side of the Main PBA carefully.

    Stop lifting around 15 degree.

    Let the LCD FPC connector pass through the hole of theMain PBA.

    Make sure not to damage the LCD FPC by the PBA hole!

    4 Replacement

    4.1 SIM TrayFollow the 3.1 Disassembly instructions! 

    Prepare the new SIM Tray.

    Follow the 5.16 Reassembly instructions! 

     

    4.2 Cap USBPrepare the new Cap USB.

    Pull out the old Cap USB.

    Insert the leg of the new Cap USB into the hole.

    Close the Cap.

    4.3 Cap SIMPrepare the new Cap SIM.

    Pull out the old Cap SIM.

    Insert the leg of the new Cap SIM into the hole.

    Close the Cap.

    4.4 Panel Side Charger Prepare the new Panel Side Charger.

    Replacement

    REMOVAL

    Open the Cap USB.

    Remove the old Panel Side Charger with the Flex Film Assembly Tool.

    INSTALLATION

     Attach the new Panel Side Charger into a cavity and press itfor 10 sec to make it securely attached.

     

    Close the Cap USB

    Follow the 3.2 Disassembly instructions! 

    Prepare the new Window Back.

    Follow the 5.6 Reassembly instructions!

    REMOVAL

    Unsnap the NFC Antenna connector with the Nylon pointer.

    Remove carefully the NFC Antenna from the Battery.

    Make sure not to deform the Battery laminate.

    Replacement

    INSTALLATION

    Prepare the new NFC Antenna.

    Paste the new NFC Antenna at the position shown in thepicture.

    Connect the NFC Antenna connector.

    Make sure it hooks!

    Replacement

    4.8 Loud Speaker 

    Follow the 3.2  – 3.4 Disassembly instructions! 

    Carry out the Removal as described below.

    Carry out the Installation as described below.

    Follow the 5.4  – 5.6 Reassembly instructions! 

    REMOVAL

    Insert the Nylon Pinter into the gap between the LoudSpeaker and Front Cover.

    Remove the Loud Speaker & Cushion Loud Speaker.

    Scrap! Cushion Loud Speaker is not to be reused.

    Clean any remaining adhesive residue! 

    INSTALLATION

    Prepare the new Loud Speaker & Cushion Loud Speaker.

     Attach the Cushion Loud Speaker & Loud Speaker.

    Make sure the orientation is correct.

    Replacement

    Press 305N x 5 sec on the Loud Speaker with the Press

    Tool Ear Speaker to make it securely attached.

    4.9 Holder Vib

    Follow the 3.2  – 3.4 & 3.11 – 3.12 Disassembly instructions! 

    Remove the old Holder Vib.

    Prepare and place the new Holder Vib.

    Follow the 5.4 – 5.6 & 5.13 – 5.16 Reassembly instructions! 

    4.10 Shield Camera

    Follow the 3.2  – 3.5 Disassembly instructions! 

    Prepare the new Shield Camera.

    Follow the 5.3 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions! 

    4.11 Holder Camera

    Prepare the new Main PBA & Adhesive Battery Bottom & Adhesive Battery Top & Adhesive PBA & Adhesive Vib &Gasket PBA & Holder 2nd MIC Duct & Side Key FPC &Sheet Plate LCD SD & Sheet SIM.

    Scrap! The parts listed above are not to be reused.

    Replacement

    Prepare the Chat Camera & Holder Chat Camera.

    Paste the Adhesive Vib on the Cover Front.

    Paste the Sheet Plate LCD SD & Sheet SIM on eachconnector.

    Paste the Adhesive PBA on the shield lids as shown in thepicture.

    Carry out the Removal as described below.

    Unsnap the Side Key FPC from the Main PBA.

    Clean up the remaining conductive adhesive on the MainPBA.

    Make sure not to scratch the metal contacts!

    Connect the Side Key FPC connector.

    Insert the Flex Film Assembly Tool to remove the Jack FPC.

    INSTALLATION

    Prepare the new Jack FPC & Adhesive Prox & CushionShade 3LED & Sheet Shade 3LED FPC.

    Paste the Adhesive Prox on the Front Cover.

    Replacement

    Insert the Jack FPC into the Front Cover.

    Press 605N x 10 sec with Press Tool Audio Jack.

    Place its proximity sensor into the cavity.

    Paste the Sheet Shade 3LED FPC.

    Paste the Cushion Shade 3LED.

    Fold up the FPC and paste the adhesive of FPC within themetal plate area.

    Follow the calibrations in Trouble Shooting Application1291-4299 – mechanical!

    Press the On/Off key to power on the unit, place unit on flat

    desk and wait 4 minutes until system boot up has beencompleted.

    Please DO NOT move the unit during the start up until“Select Language” menu is shown on the display! 

     After “Select Language” menu, turn off the unit.

    Follow the calibrations in Trouble Shooting Application1291-4299 – mechanical!

    Reassembly

    Paste the Vibrator.

    Take a new Adhesive Vib! 

    Tighten the Screw. Torque spec is 10±2 N.cm.

    Connect the LCD FPC connector.

    Connect the Jack FPC connector.

    Reassembly

    Tighten the Screws in the sequence shown in the picture.Torque spec for the Screw M1.4 (Gold) is 10±2 N.cm.Torque spec for the Screw M1.2 (Silver) is 6-1 N.cm.

    Take new Screws! 

    Connect the NFC Antenna connector.

    Make sure it hooks! 

    5.5 Tray Label & Label CoreUnit

     Attach the Tray Label through the slit of the Cover Rear andthe Front Cover.

    5.6 Window Back

    Remove the old Adhesive Window Back and all remains ofthe Adhesive residue.

    Clean the edges of the Window Back carefully with alcoholbefore the new Adhesive Window Back is mounted. Thisaction is done to secure the water resistant of the unit.

    Reassembly

    Place the new Adhesive along the guide of the Fixture ToolWindow Back.

    Place the Window Back in a correct position.

    Press with the Fixture Tool Window Back bottom side tosecure the attachment

    The Window Back is ready to be assembled.

    Reassembly

    Insert the Press Tool Window Back Top with the press headdownwards.

    Insert the Press Tool Window Back Bottom.

    Place the unit with the Window Back upwards in the bottominlay.

    Follow the instruction in 1003 - 9107 Tool Catalogue -mechanical and document Toothed Rack Press Instruction.

    Insert the bottom press.

    Press with 500 ± 50 N for 10 seconds

    (the pressure value is adjusted for 600N because of theweight of the pressure fixture)

    Reassembly

    5.7 SIM Tray

    Insert the SIM Tray.

    Close the Cap SIM.
