Workforce Pathways ScholarshipTrident Technical College (TTC) Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development is pleased to offer a new installment of the Workforce Pathways Scholarship.
The Workforce Pathways Scholarship was funded by the South Carolina General Assembly through the South Carolina Technical College System.
Trident Technical College has limited funding available to provide scholarships to students who are current residents of South Carolina. The scholarship money can be used by students to pay for class tuition only. It is only available for use on qualified TTC continuing education courses within approved programs.
Who can apply for the scholarship?Eligibility for a scholarship is not based on financial need or prior academic performance, and the scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those interested in applying for the scholarship must currently reside in South Carolina.
Applicants must also be able to meet the physical and program requirements of their chosen program of study.
There is a $5,000 maximum scholarship per student, per award period.

How can I apply for the scholarship?• Interested students can apply for
scholarships beginning July 15, 2019. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Visit www.tridenttech.edu/ce, click on Funding Opportunities and review the basic requirements of the Workforce Pathways Scholarship.
• Determine your top choice of programs to enter and identify class dates that fit your schedule.
• Come in person to Trident Technical College’s Thornley Campus, 7000 Rivers Ave., North Charleston. Visit Bldg. 910 to speak with one of the registration specialists who will give you a scholarship application form.
• Collect all required proof documents and complete your application form. Bring the application form and proof documents back to Bldg. 910 and give the materials to the registration office.
• A continuing education program manager will notify you of the program for which you are approved to enter and will register you for the appropriate classes.
• All those applying for the WPS scholarship are not guaranteed funding. Funds are dispersed on a first-come, first-served basis.
