WORK & STUDY 2012 GET VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE WITH A CANADIAN COMPANY PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS Participating in the professional internship program is the perfect choice for students who want to improve their English language skills while gaining experience in their chosen educational eld. Students in this program are placed in a professional setting with an established Canadian company. Final placements are based on the student’s educational background, previous work experience, English level, and performance in their interview. During the internship placement, students are closely monitored by our Work & Study Coordinator, with weekly check-ups and assignments. Upon completion of the program and all requirements, successful students will receive an Internship Program Certicate of Completion and reference letter from their host company. You will be placed with one of our 500+ partner internship companies. Internship Fields include: Marketing & Advertizing, IT, Legal Services, Media, Medicine & Healthcare, Tourism, Public Relations, Accounting, Engineering, Graphic Design, Broadcasting, and more…. PAID WORK & STUDY / PAID WORK & TRAVEL Participating in one of ACCESS’ Paid Work Programs is the perfect choice for students who want to spend time in Canada working and improving their English while gaining exposure to Canadian culture. Both the Paid Work & Study program and the Paid Work & Travel program will give you hands-on experience working and learning about North American work culture and allow you to gain an income at the same time. In both programs you will work alongside Canadians and practice speaking English in a casual work environment.
