� A blog, also known as a weblog, is a message board posted to the web that is used to share information that can be read by others.
� Word includes a template that can be used to prepare and publish a blog.
To complete this document, you will need the following files:� w08_Food_Tour� New blank Word document
You will save your document as:� Lastname_Firstname_w08_Food_Blog
1. Start Word, and open the student data file w08_Food_Tour.
2. On the File tab, click New. Under Available Templates, click Blog post, and then click Create.
3. In the Register a Blog Account message box, read the displayed message, and then clickRegister Later. Compare your screen with Figure 1.

4. Save the file in your Word Chapter 8 folder with the name Lastname_Firstname_w08_Food_Blog
5. On the Blog Post tab, click and then select the Enter Post Title Here placeholder as shown inFigure 2.

6. Type Aspen Falls Food & Culture Tour
7. Click below the blue line to position the insertion point below the title.
8. On the taskbar, click the Word button to display the open Word documents.
9. Click the w08_Food_Tour file to open it as shown in Figure 3.

10. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click the Select button, and then click Select All.
11. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Copy. Close the file.
12. On the taskbar, click the Word button to display the open Word documents. In the displayed Lastname_Firstname_w08_Food_Blog, on the Blog Post tab, in the Clipboardgroup, click Paste.

13. At the bottom of the blog, select Your Name, and then replace it with your first and lastnames. Compare your screen with Figure 4.
To publish your blog on the web, you must have a registered account and a blogprovider. Then on the Blog Post tab, in the Blog group, click the Publish button.

14. Save and then print or submit the file as directed by your instructor. Exit Word.
