EQUIPMENT OPERATORS WANTEDDistinctive Tree Care is looking to add qualified individuals to our
growing team. Several open positions for equipment operators with a minimum 2 years experience operating hydraulic excavator, tree shear/buncher, whole tree wood chipper or similar equipment.
Familiarity in the logging or tree clearing industry is essential. Responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of a Sennebogen 718e grapple saw, excavator with Tree shear, tracked wood chipper and an Albach rubber tire self-loading chipper. Training is available for our specific equipment. Previous safe work experience in the tree and logging industry is essential to apply for this position.
Understanding of tree types, wood weight, and wood breaking strength are critical. Understanding of various equipment components is required. Applicants must be able to maintain and be physically fit to do light equipment maintenance
Applicants must have CDL A or B drivers license and be willing to travel within New England for work. Company vehicle available for travel. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests, have a valid medical card and have a clean driving record.
