how to get heRe
By RailIf you’re travelling to Wirral by train, theMerseyrail network connects to the national railnetwork via Liverpool Lime Street Station andChester Railway Station.
By RoadThe M53 motorway forms the spine of Wirral,running from the North to the South. All Wondersof Wirral attractions are located off the M53. TheM53 connects to the M56, which in turn meets theM6. Both Liverpool and Chester are around 30minutes’ drive away, Chester via the motorway, andLiverpool by tunnel, via either the Kingsway(Wallasey), or Queensway (Birkenhead) tunnels. A toll applies.
By ferryA direct cross-river service operates betweenLiverpool, Birkenhead and Seacombe/ Wallasey,seven days a week.
Stena Line ferries operate a Belfast route fromBirkenhead’s Twelve Quays terminal.
