What if you had a face,

that was different…

from everyone

else's?

And you knew…

that people looked at you and stared,

wherever you go?

That person is me,

Auggie.

I think I am a normal 10 year old

kid…

I eat ice cream, I ride

my bike, I play ball,

and I have an Xbox.

So I feel like a normal kid.

But normal kids don’t

get stared at.

I have just one wish…

…to have a normal face.

School starts next week…

…my mom is meeting with the principal.

I am afraid of what the other kids will say…

when they see me.

Olivia (Via),is my

sister…

and she is the only kid

that understands

me.

Via sticks up for me at school!

I am glad Via is at school

with me.

When I met Jack, he thought I

was a zombie.

Jack is now my best friend!

Summer is a nice

person…

and she knows how I

feel.

Julian was never nice to

me…

and made me feel bad.

School is hard when kids don’t

understand.

Being a part of the school

is a great feeling…

…and the best feeling

there is!

Wonder is a great story

with fun characters.
