Women’s eNews Selects New Executive Director
Moving forward to the final phase in its transition to new leadership, Women’seNews is pleased to announce the appointment of Lori Sokol, Ph.D., as theExecutive Director of Women’s eNews, effective July 1, 2016.
Dr. Sokol is a former Chairman of the Board of Women’s eNews, and President ofSokol Media, LLC, the publisher of a variety of business publications that advocate
for diversity in the workplace. She also brings over 35 years of experience inpublishing as an entrepreneur, author, editor and blogger for Women’s eNews, TheHuffington Post, The Baltimore Sun, and Slate.com.
“As someone who has dedicated my entire career to advocating for gender rightsthrough the media, I am honored to undertake the role of Executive Director to helpWomen’s eNews build upon its groundbreaking work and commitment to
improving the lives of women and teen girls around the world.”
