    Wireless Surveillance and

Online Data Transfer to Remote Palace

    1. Introduction:Since the origins of the railway in the XIX century most of the innovation and deployment

efforts have been focused on aspects related to traffic management, driving support andmonitoring of the train state. The aim has been to ensure the safety of people and trains and tomeet schedules, in other words, to ensure the railway service under secure conditions. To achieve

this it has been necessary to establish a communication channel between the mobile elements

(trains, infrastructure repair machinery, towing or emergency vehicle, and so on) and the earth

fixed elements (command posts and stations, signals, tracks, etc.).

The use of wireless technologies and Internet is growing in the railway industry which allows

the deployment of new services that need to exchange information between the trains and

terrestrial control centers. This will support applications such as cargo tracking, videosurveillance in trains and at stations, passenger information services, Loco Surveillance etc.

    2. Purpose:Wireless Surveillance System is used to monitor, record and transmit the various parameters

in the locomotive such as energy consumption, speed, time, distance, location, etc. And alsohelps to analysis of the faults and protect the lives of both passengers and operators by

    encouraging a safe transportation environment.

    3. Features: System is developed based on Advanced Microcontroller Global Position System is used to detect the location of the loco RS-485 port is facilitate for communicating with MC device 8MB Non-Volatile memory is used to store the data GSM/GPRS wireless technology is used for online data transmission to the Internet User friendly HTML web page has been developed to analyze the loco data Data can be available in the form of e-mail and SMS Speed is displayed on seven segment display Parameters:
