Principal features of the WKS-Sonneboy

•The WKS-Sonneboy can be operated automatically by means of a programmable

microprocessor or it can be put in a manual operation mode by means of a push

button switch located on the face plate.

•The WKS-Sonneboy provides automatic operation as a function of measured wind

velocity and light intensity.

•The WKS-Sonneboy wind monitor takes priority over all other functions including

manual operation. This ensures extended awnings will be retracted if wind force

becomes excessive, even if set for manual operation.

•The WKS-Sonneboy sun and wind monitors can be set for a range of nine levels

of intensity.

•The WKS-Sonneboy contains a built-in power unit that features a 6-month power

back-up to protect the programmed logic in case of power failure.

Automatic Sun & Wind Control

The Elero WKS-Sonneboy is a compact microprocessor-based control

system for blinds, shades, awnings,

shutters, and draperies. The system

combines a sun sensor and a wind monitor.

The wind monitor takes overall priority over other

functions both in automatic and manual operatingmode. Whenever the wind monitor is activated

all other operations will be blocked. This ensures

that exterior shading systems, such as awnings,

will retract to the closed position when the wind

exceeds the preselected level. Now is it possible

to operate such shading systems even when you

are absent.
