A WORD FROM OUR CEO

As we welcome a new year and new decade, I am truly excited about the way forward as a ministry, and what God has in store for us. It is very significant that, this year, we will be celebrating the 18th anniversary of WOMEN IN

TUNE. Indeed, what started as a small seed has grown and blossomed into a full-grown and mature tree of righteousness, producing more seeds, and scattering and planting them wherever we are. What a harvest we would reap for the Kingdom!

Isaiah 37:30-32 NKJV “This shall be a sign to you: You shall eat this year such as grows of itself, and the second year what springs from the same; also, in the third year sow and reap, plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant, and those who escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” When God Himself offers you a sign or proof, you need to pay attention. Having gone through the seasons of the “first and second years,” we believe we are now in the “third year,” hence, our theme for 2020 and beyond is Taking Root Downward And Bearing Fruit Upwards It was established at our triennial conference, in Uganda in September 2019, that we are called to bring about revival and reformation in our nations, and we have also realised that we cannot bring about reformation by only scattering

seed. At best, we might bring about a revival by scatter-ing seeds, but to bring about reformation, we must be more deliberate and strategic. We need to take root in our nations, in order to bear more fruit, produce more seeds and repeat the cycle over and over again in every nation... THE SEED

The first essential element of fruitfulness is the seed. God determined the role of the seed in fruitfulness at Creation. (Genesis 1:11-13). Therefore, you cannot have fruit without seed. Basically, a seed is, a copy of the plant it came from. Genetically, it has all the information needed to grow into a complete plant. Thus, the seed always determines everything about the tree and its fruit. As WOMEN IN TUNE, we must be careful what seed we are planting in the nations. We must not only sow the seed of Christ, we must also be careful to sow the seed of Christ as revealed and given in the vision, mandate and mission of WIT. To fulfil our vision of “a global army of women, faithfully worshipping and serving Jesus Christ, we cannot afford to create a hybrid by mixing our mandate with another. (Deut 4:2 Deut 12:32) Our God-given mandate is very clear: “To preach good tidings to the poor; to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives; and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion; to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations” (Isaiah 61:1- 4)

We cannot afford to add to what has been given or deduct from it; we must protect and preserve its integrity for posterity. Therefore in 2020 and beyond, we will not only continue with all the work we are doing so far, we will also be looking at ways in which we will maintain integrity and consistency, as we expand in the nations we are currently in and other new nations. By the grace of God, we will focus and work on seven key areas of development: raising strong LEADERSHIP, ADMINISTRATION, GOVERNANCE, internal and external COMMUNICATION, spiritual/cultural/trans-generational RELEVANCY, FUNDRAISING and creating a KINGDOM CULTURE within WIT. We truly appreciate your continued support in prayer, financial contributions, etc. Together, we will raise a global army for the end-time harvest. All praise, glory and thanks to Jesus Christ, our Lord! Amen! ◼

On 12 February 2010, the Lord gave Apostle Jennifer the mandate to “Gather the women to pray!” He then gave her the strategy of small groups of up to five women, and the name QUIVER. 10 years on, God is still earnestly seeking to stir up women to rise up and carry and birth a fresh outpouring and move of His Spirit in the Church and nation (Isaiah 32:9-20). There have been several prophecies that the next revival in the UK would be birthed by praying women, and the time has come, and now is, for Christian women to rise up, come together, pray and intercede, and strategize to reach out to the nation with the hope of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is time, especially, for Christian women in Britain to rise up and take action! This is not another ministry; this is a God-given strategy to mobilise women to prayer and action. Will you join the movement? All women, churches, women's intercessory groups and organisations are welcome. Together, we can make a huge difference to bring righteousness, peace and joy in our nation.

SEASON’S GREETINGS FROM WOMEN IN TUNE CAMEROON

(WIT CAMEROON)

Our profound gratitude goes to God Almighty for His goodness, faithfulness and, most importantly, for ushering us all into the New Year. Indeed 2019 was a year worth remembering as the Holy Spirit dwelt, not only in but, with WIT in general and WITCAM in particular. From the inception of this

vision in Cameroon far back in 2007, we have never experienced a better yesterday for God has been prospering us on every side. God's word in Isaiah 60:22 has been evident in WITCAM as the vision of WIT has expanded by leaps and bounds to different parts of Cameroon in the last five years via our outreaches, and to the glory of God are all alive and kicking. Our joy knew no bounds when we received the Abigail Award For Excellence in the just concluded edition of the WIT International Conference 2019. Of a truth this recognition did not only serve as a source of encouragement to the team but also instilled in us the zeal to break new grounds for the Lord. The diverse testimonies shared and recorded by women in WITCAM and WIT at large of the massive impact this vision has made in their lives spiritually, physically, emotionally,

mentally and otherwise are a clear proof that we are actually breeding a global army of women faithfully serving Jesus Christ and we thank God for bringing us this far. Our sincere prayer is that the 2020 agenda of "Taking root downward, bearing fruit upward" becomes a reality in the lives of all WIT Leaders and their teams in Jesus Name. WOMEN IN TUNE KENYA

Kenya is a blessed nation with a population of 47.5 million and approximately 24 million of them being women, in a nation that is largely Christian. However, there was an eminent need for men and women to position them-selves in anticipation of a mighty move of the Spirit of God, hence, Women In Tune Kenya!

Kenya has a considerably enlightened population but traditions/culture causing marginalization, false identity, prejudice, fear, lukewarm walk with the Lord and stereo-types have limited women to function freely in their relationship and service to the Lord. The woman in Kenya is undeniably, a backbone in the society in all sectors making the country a very fast-paced economy in the region, socially. It is, however, ironical that the same woman’s potential is suppressed becoming an impediment to the

move of God as women liberated in Christ are a great army as seen in the ministry of Jesus Christ.

As WIT Kenya, since 2016, we have reached over 15,000 women directly in 12 out of the 47 counties across the country. There is great potential with active representation of the ministry and Quiver groups in Nairobi, Mombasa, Samburu, Mombasa, Taita Taveta, Kiambu, Kajiado and Kakamega Counties. This is in close collaboration with 40 churches who have embraced the ministry, with about 2000 souls coming to the Lord.

land, a more united church, the restoration of individuals, families, churches and towns. The fivefold ministry unlearning and learning their role in the Body of Christ, women ministries thriving especially in intercession i.e prayer walks, evangelism and discipling of new believers. The Free to Serve and Discovering Identity and Purpose manuals have been translated into Kiswahili. These are of great use in rural Kenya and the coastal towns where

the language is predominant, and many rural women can understand and be discipled in simplicity. Winning the Great Commission Award was a seal to us, both an assurance that the Great Commission is possible and that there is much ground to be covered with any laborer who is intentional. There is much ground to cover in Kenya and in the Nations, and for the Kingdom agenda to keep pace – more than ever, there is need for commitment, self-denial, sacrifice of time, talent, treasure and total reliance on the Holy Spirit for He is in need of laborers! Philippians 3:8-11 ◼
