Sister Yes, I am so resolved.
Celebrant Are you resolved to live in communion with your Sisters in the family spirit of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello thus giving rise to apostolic charity?

All pray for a while in silence.
Celebrant Heavenly Father, support these our Sisters who wish to dedicate themselves entirely to Christ and to be a sign of St. John Bosco’s gratitude to Mary Help of Christians. In your pan of love, you have called them to this religious family; sustain them with your faithfulness so that they may strive with all their energy to make the love of Christ present among the young. He is god who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever.
All Amen.
Profession
The Novice comes before the Superior and reads the formula of profession.
Heavenly Father, you consecrated me in baptism and now, through the power of the Holy Spirit, you call me to follow Jesus Christ more closely, in order to share more intimately in his mission in the Church.
In response to your love, I bind myself to live the Beatitudes of the Kingdom radically, in communion with my Sisters, proclaiming Christ to young people according to the spirit of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello.
Today, before the community and all here present, I, Natasha, freely and entirely give myself to you. I make the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience for one year in the hands of Sr. Joanne Holloman, delegate of the Superior General according to the evangelical way traced our by the Constitutions of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.
Trusting in the help of your grace,
in the intercessions of Mary, Help of Christians, and of all our Saints, and with the support of my Sisters, I want to live faithfully, for your glory, the commitments I assume in making my profession. Amen.
Sr. Joanne My dear Natasha, in the name of the Church I welcome you into the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians as a professed Sister with temporary vows. From now on we shall live together in closer communion of life and in our generous commitment of self-giving to the young in the charity of Christ.
Presentation of the Constitutions and Crucifix
Celebrant Receive the Constitutions of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians; they will guide you straight along the way of Christ until you come to contemplate him for all eternity. Follow them faithfully and by loving them you will also love your Founders.
All Amen.
Celebrant Receive the Cross of Christ. Live with your gaze fixed on him who was crucified for love, so that you may enter ever more deeply into his paschal mystery.
All Amen.

SPIRITUAL REMEMBRANCE TABERNACLE CANDLES
FOR WEEK OF AUGUST 15, 2021
In memory of Christine Anne Hess
Donated by Luke & Marta Hess
MEDITATION FOR August 15, 2021
Mary, cause of our joy, pray for us. The infant Jesus in Mary’s
womb was a cause for joy Elizabeth and John, her unborn son. Christ is present in us through the gift of the Eucharist. Where is our joy? Does it overflow and draw others to know and love Mary’s Son, Jesus? Mary is our model and our aid. She delights to intercede that all may trust Jesus.
John’s vision from Revelation tells of a great sign, a woman clothed with the sun and the dragon who stood ready to devour her child. God protected both mother and son. In the second reading, Paul encourages the Corinthians: as Christ has destroyed death, so through his resurrection, his believers, will be brought to life at the proper time. In the Gospel, Mary travels to visit Elizabeth. When Mary greets her, the infant in Elizabeth’s womb leaped for joy.

“Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” 1Cor. 15:20 Take a moment when you see someone new and say “hello” to them. This may be the new neighbor moving in, the new work colleague on a Zoom call, or a new parishioner you see here at Mass. Let us also live a life pleasing to God as we provide blessings to others through the gifts and talents given to us by God.

Attention: Volunteer Leaders
Please remember to submit the forms for your organization’s planned events for the upcoming
2021-2022 year. When you know the events you are planning to host, please fill out the request form and return to the Parish Center so we may add them to the calendar and make sure there are no conflicts.
If there is a change in the leadership of the organization, please notify Marc as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help with this important part of the volunteer mission.
Our Food Pantry has needs. If you are able, please consider donating one or more of the following items. We ask for the donations with expiration dates as far in advance as
possible. These items may be left in plastic or paper bags against the wall of statues in the Gathering Area. Thank you for your help.
• Individual snack packs,
• Paper Towels,
• Knorr pasta sides,
• Boxed potatoes.
Information about the return of our Outreach Ministry and Manna Ministry will be coming in September!
OUR LADY OF FATIMA STATUE This week the Fatima statue will be in the home of Shanika Perera.
Please remember to pick up the 2 black bags and returning them and the statue back to the priest’s sacristy on Saturday, August 21, 2021. As restrictions have been eased regarding the virus, we ask you to please wipe down the statue
with disinfectant not alcohol. Thank you for taking Our Lady on a journey through our parish. ARE YOU A REGISTERED
PARISHIONER?
If you recently moved into the area and have not yet registered in the parish, we encourage you to become a registered member. Ask an usher for a registration packet after Mass or stop by or call the
Parish Office to obtain one.
Once registered, you will receive quarterly mailing of parish offertory envelopes. The use of an Offertory envelope helps us to track Mass attendance which affects your status as an active or inactive parishioner. Mass attendance, not the content of the offertory envelope, is reviewed twice a year and a letter is sent to those who have not used their envelopes in that specified time period.
Be advised, once an individual reaches the age of 18 (even if still living in the Family home), they are considered to be an adult and need to register in the parish as such. Thank you for being alert to this important matter.
Do you know of a family member who is homebound? Is there a fellow parishioner you know is unable to attend Mass, but wishes to receive the Holy Eucharist?
Take a moment to call the Parish Center. Provide the name, address, and phone number of the person. Sr. Ruthann will schedule a time with them to visit.
Should you or another family member be in the hospital, please let Sr. Ruthann know and she will arrange to pay them a visit if possible. Call 732-297-3000
August 2, 2021 Mr. Ivan Yorobe 226 Westminster Drive Tallahassee, FL 32304 Dear Ivan, Congratulations on your graduation from Seton Hall! You and your family have much to be proud of as you celebrate this accomplishment and begin the next chapter of your life. I was delighted to hear that St. Augustine School and parish have been such an instrumental part of your journey; a blessing! I am glad, too, that St. Paul’s Outreach had such a positive impact on you that you are taking time off from beginning your career to devote the next two years serving the mission. I am sure that soon enough you will beet with much success in your chosen profession or perhaps the Lord will invite you to be with Him as one of His priests continuing your work here in our diocese; you’re in my prayers! In the midst of it all, continue to stay close to Our Lord and His Blessed Mother; she will assist you always as you do her Son’s work! Know that you have my prayers that God will use your gifts for His glory and the good of those whom He has placed in your life. With renewed best wishes, I remain

The Month of October –
Our Lady of the Rosary
Parish Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima
The old Church of Saint Augustine contained a beautiful statue in honor of Our Lady of Fatima! Many years ago we started the tradition of having the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima being hosted in the homes of our parish families to further devotion to our Blessed Mother! On Sunday, October 10th, 2021 at the 10:30 a.m. Mass, we will rededicate the Pilgrim Statue and once
again it will begin its journey throughout our parish. Every registered parish family is invited to host the Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady! True devotion to our Blessed Mother always brings one closer to the Heart of her son!
The statue is approximately 3 feet tall and is hand-carved of wood, (light weight). The statue comes from Fatima, Portugal, where the Blessed Mother appeared to the three shepherd children, Lucy, Jacinta and Francesco. The apparitions took place in 1917 and the final apparition took place on October 13th. Our Lady encouraged devotion to her Immaculate Heart, to pray in reparation for sin, and to meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary. We pray that many
will feel moved to host the Pilgrim Statue in their home. Don’t let having young children deter you from having the statue of Our Lady in YOUR HOME! You will be able to have the statue for one week and it will be up to you to create your own prayer service privately, for your family or friends, whatever you wish! Please fill out the form and
return it to the Parish Center by September 10th, 2021!
