Gaining Access to CIDI
What is CIDI?
Customer Inquiry Dispute Information. Used for ISO settlement
disputes and inquiries
Why will RC West use CIDI for BAs to submit WIT Schedule
Change requests?
Determined an efficient way to receive WIT Schedule Change
requests.
• Cuts down on emails
• Shows the requestor where the change is in the queue
• Reporting capabilities

Gaining Access to CIDI (Cont’d)
Reach out to your organization’s User Access Administrator (UAA)
to provision CIDI access through AIM.
If you do not know who your UAA contacts are, you can:
1. Go to RC Portal at https://rc.caiso.com, pull up the Contacts
list, or
2. Contact the ISO Service Desk at (888) 889-0450 and
provide your organization’s name and they can pull up the
UAA information for you.

Gaining Access to CIDI (Cont’d)
• Request for the EXTERNAL IMS READ-WRITE role in CIDI.
Access will be granted within 24 – 48 hrs.
• If the user has an existing ISO CMA certificate, the CIDI
application will be automatically added to the user’s profile.
• If the user requires a new certificate, the user will receive an
email notification with instructions on how to register and install
their certificate.

– Google Chrome

Log into CIDI (Cont’d)
Once CIDI access has granted, you can go to the RC portal
https://rc.caiso.com and click on Apps >> Prod >> CIDI

Note: If you do not have access to the RC portal, please work with
your UAA to provision access to RCSFE in the Access Identify
Management (AIM) tool.

Completing the WIT Schedule Change Request
Form
• All signatures must be included
and confirmed by the requesting
BA in the WIT Schedule Change
Request Form.
• Follow WECC After-the-Fact
Manual to fill out the WIT Schedule
Change Request Form.

Submitting a WIT Schedule Change Request in
CIDI to RC West
In CIDI, click on the
Submit a Case button.
Next, select the Inquiry
Ticket Record Type from
the drop down option and
then click Next.

Only your
company’s SCID will
be listed on here
Select only
Production
Type in the key phrase
“WIT Schedule Change
for <e-tag code>”.
The e-tag code must
contain 7 digits.
The required fields are indicated by the asterisk signs *, plus Email Recipients.
Provide a brief
description.
Select the trade date
You can select
multiple trade hours
by pressing Ctrl +
trade hours
Type in the Market
Resource ID
Required: You can add
email recipients so that
they can receive
notifications when the
ticket is created and/or
closed. Please use semi
colons to separate the
email addresses.
For Email Recipients, please include the contacts for the
signatories on the WIT Schedule Change Request Form,
ATFWG Chair and all RCs on the form.

Once the request has been submitted a new Case Record will be created. Then
scroll down below Detailed Information section to upload the WIT Change
Request Form by clicking Attach to Case button.

WIT Schedule Change Request User Guide for

▪ The WIT Administration procedure, RC0540, that RC
West put together will include many Attachments.
▪ One of the attachments will be a User Guide that
explains this process.
▪ We will also keep this presentation posted on the
ATFWG page of www.wecc.org

the WIT Schedule Change Request process.
Below are ideas on how we can improve your
experience in CIDI for WIT Schedule Change
requests. Please send your feedback and/or

• Adding a WIT Schedule Change Request case
record type to the drop-down to select instead of
Inquiry Ticket.
• Customizing the fields in the New Case window
• Adding drop down lists specific to the WIT
Change Request.
