I hope you enjoy this newsletter. It’s a chance to share of some school life on and off site this term. It is also an opportunity for me to thank our wonderful staff team. Their skills, energy and commitment amaze me everyday, making me feel incredibly proud. 40 year 11s and 8 post 16 students left school this term. l’m sure you’ll join me in wishing them well as they take up their college placements in September. “Moving Up” Fortnight has gone well. For the last ten days everyone has “moved up” into their new classes following their new timetable. Everybody will know where they are going and what they will be doing come September. We welcome 43 year 7s in September. They have all spent time at Bensham this term getting to know everyone and their way around. May I take this opportunity to wish you a happy and healthy holiday. I look forward to seeing all the pupils normal time on Wednesday 4th September for the start of the Autumn term. We say goodbye and good luck to the following staff this term. They are relocating, starting new jobs or commencing teacher training. We will miss you all. …as well as Zehra, Jo, Cindy M, Deborah and Trevin. !"##$% &’()
