PR46W21Normal Straw Hybrid
As PR46W21 has progressed through Official and RecommendedList Trials its comparative annual gross output yield has been extremely consistent. This is real testimony to the reliability ofPR46W21 since frequently varieties are unable to maintain the highyields they exhibit in the first years of testing.

PT234 is a fully restored normal straw hybrid.PT234 has a stem canker resistance score of 8. This score is notbased on single gene resistance, such as the RIm7 stem canker resistance gene, but on broader quantitative horizontal resistance,or multi-gene resistance. Quantitative horizontal resistance shouldlead to a more reliable level of stem canker resistance in the eventthat stem canker infection overcomes the resistance provided bysingle genes such as Rlm7.
