Granular CalibrationDickey John:

•Select, set, and record the applicable gate opening; Connect key board perform system response / granular; zero the scale;

•Select cal / granular / salt, sand, or salt sand mix; touch R and fill the box;

•enter lbs dropped;

•touch D / y / operate / gran configuration and record the new cal number.

• Repeat twice for each granular product to verify an average value.

Force:

•Select, set, and record gate setting;

•enter the calibrate mode;

•rotate knob to “set granular”;

•enter 360 pulses per rev (if using the Dickey John style meter);

•set auger min. Set auger max. record the maximum rpm attained;

•select calibrate salt; adjust % to 100, push spreader knob, fill the scale box then push spreader knob to stop the delivery;

• record # of turns; enter pounds dropped, calculate and record the

lbs / rev as the new cal #;

• repeat this procedure twice for each granular product the unit is

programmed to deliver.
