Shaun and Friends The Barn Mossy Bottom Farm BA1 BAA WINTER IS COMING! CHALLENGE COME AND HAVE A GO IF YOU THINK YOU’RE GREEN ENOUGH! Have you been having fun learning about sustainability and getting the lowdown on growing your own food on Shaun’s ‘Winter is Coming’ Mission? Well, now it’s time for a new challenge! Shaun wants YOU to apply what you’ve learned in the game to a real-life mission – can you try and create your own way of growing food in a more productive way, whatever the time of year to extend the growing season? Working with your classmates, you’ll need to follow the instructions to make your own mini greenhouse (Cloche) and set up an experiment to see if your plants grow better in your cloche, compared to out in the open. Use your best scientific knowledge to think about plants and what they need to survive and thrive while setting up your experiment and see if you could make food production much more efficient!

WINTER IS COMING! CHALLENGECOME AND HAVE A GO IF YOU THINK YOU’RE GREEN ENOUGH!Have you been having fun learning about sustainability and getting the lowdown on growing your own food on Shaun’s ‘Winter is Coming’ Mission? Well, now it’s time for a new challenge! Shaun wants YOU to apply what you’ve learned in the game to a real-life mission – can you try and create your own way of growing food in a more productive way, whatever the time of year to extend the growing season?

Working with your classmates, you’ll need to follow the instructions to make your own mini greenhouse (Cloche) and set up an experiment to see if your plants grow better in your cloche, compared to out in the open.

Use your best scientific knowledge to think about plants and what they need to survive and thrive while setting up your experiment and see if you could make food production much more efficient!

You’ll need to keep a careful watch on your plants, regularly take measurements and see whether your predictions are correct.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get growing!
