CampSaver WinterCampSaver is the NZMCA member benefit providing a range of affordable campgrounds. The ‘Winter’ covers the off-season period, and any members who stay at a CampSaver campground during the specified time, can claim the ‘CampSaver Winter’ rate.

Each year select campgrounds choose to partake in CampSaver and offer a generous, low-rate. In return we ask that members make the effort to support these campgrounds by staying at them whenever is possible.

The Duration

1st April 2021 - 31st October 2021. Excluding: all long weekends/public holidays & all peak period dates at select camps.

The Rate

2 adults: Up to $22 | 1 adult: $15 | Extra adults: $11 | Children: $5

Applies to members in a vehicle, per night, on a powered site only. (If unavailable a non-powered site will be offered at the same rate.)

Redeeming the rate

1) Present a financial membership card, 2) Ask for CampSaver

Disclaimer: Failure to do both may result in being charged full price. Membership is only for the names of those on the card and should not be lent to non-members. Campgrounds are entitled to request secondary proof of identification. CampSaver only affects the ‘rate’ at the campground & the NZMCA does not own participating CampSaver campgrounds - all other camp policies & procedures apply.

How to useCarefully read the below terms & conditions of using CampSaver. Follow each step before you go to a campground.

Check the campground listing on the Travel App OR the ONLINE Travel Directory for: • Contact details and restrictions• Exclusion dates and campground closures• Facilities & additional costs • Max. Stay - the length of time you can stay on CampSaver before needing to pay full price. Longer stays by negotiation• Making a booking - only available for some camps on the app

Check the campground’s website for: • Compulsory check in & check out times - you must adhere to these, unless arranged with the camp• Site availability or to make a booking - if a powered site is not available a non-powered will be offered• All other policies, procedures, and T&C’s Call or email to check:

• Any of the information not available on the website, outlined above - some camps do not have websites• Site availability or to make a booking - if you prefer not to book on the website or app

Policies and procedures of the campground outside the rate are not dictated by the NZMCA. Failure to follow the ‘how to use’ instructions may result in dissatisfaction of the program, and participating camps are not liable to make any exceptions to NZMCA members. We cannot guarantee that all the information provided in the Travel App, ONLINE Travel Directory, each campground’s website and the printed directory is up to date as the information is subject to change.
