Executive Summary April 14, 2014

Worldwide Market Demand By 2020, the world will require 40% more energy than it consumed in 2004. 80% of this energy growth will be devoted to improving living standards in the developing world, where currently more than 1.6 billion people live with no access to the electrical grid1. These market signals indicate the immediate opportunity for an affordable on and off grid solution not met by existing wind or solar products.

WindStream’s Products - SolarMill® and TurboMill® WindStream Technologies has designed, prototyped, installed and manufactures the SolarMill® and TurboMill® products which are a low-cost, highly efficient means of harnessing renewable energy resources in urban and rural environments. The TurboMill® is a modular, renewable energy system designed and optimized for both on and off grid applications. mass-produced production units were shipped in 2012. WindStream has seen exponential sales growth year over year and expects this trend to continue into 2014 and beyond. The Company has ramped up its US based manufacturing capabilities and will be adding capacity in India, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines with additional territories under consideration.

Market Opportunities ù Developing Nations: Provide a low-cost distributed energy solution including self-contained batteries, a charging port

for cell phones, a photovoltaic capture accessory and more ù Municipalities: City, state and foreign environmental authorities have mandated the reduction of greenhouse gas

emissions from their buildings ù Military/Government: The US Army has a goal of “net-zero energy” consumption by 2030 for all its military bases,

installations and residences domestically/internationally. US Gov. buildings must achieve 30% energy efficiency by 2015

ù Institutions: Schools, hospitals, museums, universities, sports stadiums and other structures can reduce their daily energy consumption where traditional wind and solar solutions cannot fit

ù Corporations/Small Businesses: Enable businesses to reduce their energy use and carbon footprint ù Residential Customers: Sold directly to consumers, through big box retail outlets for simple, permit-free DIY

installation or through professional energy appliance installers ù Utility Companies: Provide a means for utility companies around the world to reach the milestones imposed upon

them by the national programs for electrification (LatAM, India and African regions) or the reduction of carbon emissions by providing electricity through the deployment of renewable energy platforms

ù Telecom Companies: Provide a cost-effective distributed energy solution to cellular towers and repeaters for off-grid areas enabling Telecom’s to reduce costs and the CAPEX and OPEX of costly diesel generators. In on-grid areas this type of installation improves the Telecom’s quality of service as a fall-back energy solution when the grid is unstable or non-existent.

Technical Highlights Using manufacturing processes commonly found in the precision parts supply lines for the automotive industry, WindStream Technologies has dramatically reduced costs while adding reliability, resulting in a new and innovative energy solution. Generating power across a wide range of wind speeds from 2 to 60MPH and solar irradiance, the WindStream products produce energy from winds in any direction, pose no threat to the environment or to wildlife, are silent and free from vibration and other mechanical deficiencies often found in horizontal axis devices and do not require complicated masts, guywires or foundations for installation. Proprietary generators are coreless, permanent magnet machines, which offer increased energy generation capabilities while operating at lower speeds, eliminating failure prone gearboxes, leading to high generator efficiencies. Very light winds (<2mph) can start the turbines to spin. TurboMills® are virtually silent, generating sound below the ambient noise level. Each unit has a solid-state independent control circuit optimizing power extracted from the wind. The power generated is then sent to an industry standard grid-tie inverter for transfer to a building’s electrical system or a battery bank for off-grid applications. WindStream is evolving the products capability’s to include an embedded electronic board/inverter that will allow interaction with smartgrids for real time communication and remote control.
