TERMOGLAS glass tradition is dating back to 1980, when Mlakar Franc began his journey with a little glass workshop. With his hard and honest work he has created a good name and developed a modern family business, with the most recent technological machines. His knowledge and years of experience were transferred to our goals, not just novelties but also quality, perfection in details with a sense of aesthetics and sophistication.

We specialize in the manufacture and installation of PVC windows and manufacturing of insulating glass, safety glass, emailed, decorative glass and fire resistant glass. In the past time, we have gained valuable experience and knowledge, which gives clients atmosphere of trust to create comprehensive solutions tailored to their needs, requirements and preferences.


Glass as tradition means 34 years of expertise in development of glass business with production equipment and use of better and more efficient materials.

· In 1980 Mlakar Franc started career as entrepreneur with small glass workshopOf course at that time working with glass was completely different. Cutting was by hand,insulation glass has not yet been made, materials were different

· 1985 he built first production facility in Boštanj with 750m2. We started production ofinsulation glass on first available machines. Our scope of work expended. We employedaround 15 workers.

· 1991 we moved to current location with 1.500 m2 facility. Mlakar Franc founded companyTermoglas d.o.o. The development and increasing demand for glass products requiredexpansion. Our production became more and more modernized. New technologies wereincluded in our production range.

· 1995 we started new production of plastic windows and doors. We had to build again in1997 and facility was extended to 2.200m2. This program accelerated growth ofcompany, employing more then 45 workers with high quality products

· 2005 new facility with 2.800 m2 was build for glass business extension. Glass industrygot big and demanding. Working technology got more sophisticated which got bigger andlonger. Our range of glass products have also extended to tempering, laminating andfire-resistant glass.

· In 2007 production of fire-resistant glass started in new facility of 1000 m2

· In 2008 we extended commercial and showroom facility

Nominations and awardsGeneral Manager Mlakar Franc was born in 1951 in Celje. He is man of hardworking principals. Honest and jolly in spirit, he is man of words and actions, full of energy which emits in all of us. In short he is charismatic person, which does not allow himself to rest but finds time for friends and relatives. With them and his accordion he somehow equates stress and all efforts. With his work he always helped local community and cared for development of employees. In years he got many congratulations, personal thanks and awards.

Production, assembly and marketing of fire-resistant glass

Termoglas is the only manufacturer of fire resistant glass in Slovenia and one of the few in Europe and in the world. This is an extremely demanding program with a lot of personal development and testing’s. Glass Lamiflame is classified under the highest level of Fire resistance in EI class, which means that Lamiflame in the event of a fire will provide temporary protection against the passage of fire and heat radiation. Advantages of Lamiflame are definitely quality, quick production and competitive price. Glass is UV stable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It offers excellent sound insulation ranging from 42 to 44 dcb.

Windows that look to the future and meet theessential requirements for thermal insulation, sound insulation and anti-burglary security.
