Every day Kids Helpline provides free, confidential 24/7 phone and web counselling to young people right across Australia. In fact every 90 seconds a young person reaches out to Kids Helpline for help.

Kids and young people call us to talk about everything. Last year the most common reason young people contacted Kids Helpline was mental health. Just over 1 in 5 counselling sessions offered support and strategies in response to a mental health concern. Some kids are looking for emotional support and practical help, while for others it’s a life-saving call.

Kids Helpline is primarily funded by the yourtown prize home.
