To whom it may concern:
I would like to recommend Vernon Rowe to potential employers. I have known and worked with Vernon for many years at Progress Energy as well as Florida Power Corp. before the merger with CP&L. Vernon has supported me in a purchasing supplier role as Purchasing Agent for numerous projects that I was responsible for. Vernon was always timely and accurate in assuring my deadlines were met. Vernon also assured that all corporate procedures were adhered to. Vernon supported me by supplying qualified vendors, requesting proposals through bidding procedures and selecting the most qualified vendor based on business case justification analysis. Vernon most recently helped me expedite a $2.5 million project. The project priority became accelerated and without Vernon’s support we would not have been able to meet schedule.
Vernon would be an asset to any employer and I recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue.
