**Immediate Enrollment: Pending available space in the grade level the applicant is applying for, we will accept applications after the school year has begun. If space is available in the grade for the current school year, admissions notifications for all complete applicant files will be made in a timely manner. When space is not available, acceptable applicants will be added to a wait list. Please review the enrollment option details on the final page and check your desiredoption for enrollment.

Instructions:

1) Complete the Application Form and attach a non-refundable $65.00 application fee. Please do not send cash inthe mail. You will be provided with a receipt upon payment. If more than one child is applying, completing anapplication form for each child is required, however, you need only send in one fee. Please follow all instructionscarefully and fill out all forms completely. Application fees are waived for siblings of currently enrolled students,and for applicants who were previously accepted. Incomplete applications cannot be processed.

Request your child's current head teacher to complete and submit the online Teacher Recommendation form to(kanderson@willnorth.org (preferred method). The Teacher Recommendation form can be found on our websiteunder the "Admissions"" tab (www.willnorth.org/admissions). If your child's teacher is unable to complete theTeacher Recommendation form online, then please print out a copy, and have the completed hard copy faxed to(718-384-3525), or mailed directly to Williamsburg Northside Schools (299 North 7th Street Brooklyn, NY 11211).

Receiving Scholarship through Financial Aid

Scholarship Awards The mission of the WNS scholarship program is to provide an enriching, challenging elementary school experience like no other. Williamsburg Northside is firmly committed to making our school a viable educational option for all eligible students. In addition, Northside’s active Parent Association was responsible for raising over $60,000 in scholarship funds in theireffort to support diversity during the 2015-2016 school year.

Applying for Financial AidAn applicant's request for tuition assistance does not affect admission eligibility. Financial aid forms can be found online. All financial information submitted is confidential.

The renewal of aid awards is not based on academic performance. Scholarships are granted for one year at a time and must be applied for annually. Williamsburg Northside considers many factors when looking for qualifying families. Several factors effect a family’s overall application for aid, such as financial need, number of siblings and overall commitment to the Williamsburg community. All families who receive financial aid are expected to actively contribute to the school community.
