Anna DeLoi '18 Anna began playing the harp at age nine and studied for 6 years at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School. She has been featured in the Berkshire Symphony Soloist Gala twice in her time at Williams so far and has also soloed with the NH Philharmonic, the Merrimack Valley, Lowell, and Portsmouth Symphonies, Symphony Pro Musica, and on two tapings of the NPR radio show From the Top. She was a 2014 Young Arts Winner and Presidential Scholar in the Arts and was recently named a 2017 Truman Scholar. Last summer, she toured Scandinavia and the Baltic as a member of the Youth Orchestra of the Americas. At Williams, Anna is the founder and director of Ephs Out Loud, a student initiative dedicated to promoting collaborative, community-based music making.
