• He started his career as a Shakespearean actor in Canada in 1954.

• He also starred in several Canadian TV shows and movies as well as other TV roles in the US and Britain.

Star Trek

• William Shatner played the role of James Tiberius Kirk captain of the Starship Enterprise.

• The show ran from 1966-69.• In 1973 he did the voice of captain Kirk in the

animated series.

More Star Trek

• In 1979 the cast of Star Trek got together to make the first ever Star Trek movie

• They made six movies and they made a Star Trek game based on the movies called Starfleet Academy.

70’s

• He starred in many different films in the 70’s some were great and some were better forgotten.

• Many fans believe his worst work was the movie The Horror at 37,000 Feet.

• He was also in the movie Mission: Impossible.
