Howard Bickle, Jr (Capulet) - Howard is proud to be making his Intrepid Shakespeare debut

with such an inspiring group of artists. Locally, Howard has been fight choreographer, director,

performer, and/or teacher for The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, Lamb's Players, North Coast

Rep., The San Diego Rep., The Theatre In Old Town, Scripps Ranch Theatre, Moonlight

Amphitheatre and Moonlight at the Avo. Favorite recent role was Charlie Baker in The Foreigner

with Moonlight at the Avo.

James Cota (Tybalt/Apothecary) - Intrepid Shakespeare: King John (Pembroke),

Shakespeare for a New Generation Education Tour: Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), A Midsummer

Night's Dream (Bottom/Lysander); Poor Players: Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio); Triad

Productions: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Judas); Grossmont College: Stop Kiss

Kristine Kerr (Set Design) - Kristine Kerr is thrilled to be scenic designer for Intrepid

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, having worked with Sean and Christy on Three Days of Rain.

BIOSKristine completed her MA in Theatre at SDSU in May 2010, with interests in both Scenic Design

and Dramaturgy. She most recently designed sets for A Streetcar Named Desire, and Angels in

America Part 1 & Part 2, all at Palomar College. Kristine would like to thank Jim and Matt for their

love and support.

Beth Merrimen (Costume Design) - designed costumes for last season's "King John" and

"Taming of the Shrew", as well as the Educational Tour productions. Elsewhere, she's cobbled

together "The Joy Luck Club" for the Asian American Repertory Theatre (San Diego) and assisted

with numerous shows at St. Croix Festival Theatre (Wisconsin). When not scurrying from thrift store

to resale shop or buried under mounds of fabric, she is the Wardrobe Crew Chief at the Old Globe

Theatre. Thanks go t6 her wonderful friends who endure constant brainstorming sessions and field

Durwood Murray (Prince Escalus) - Durwood is excited to be back with Intrepid for the third time.

He previously appeared in King John and Taming of the Shrew. He can also be seen weekly on

San Diego's #1 sketch comedy show, "The House," as a performer, writer, and producer. Durwood

is very happy to see that his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University isn't going to waste.

Special thanks to his beloved Allie, Wondrous Strage Prod., The Usual Suspects, all his VA peeps,

and those with Crazed Imaginations. "Don't Dream It, Be It."

Erin Petersen (Juliet) - is thrilled to be making her professional debut with Intrepid Shakespeare

Company. Other credits include: Little Sally in Urinetown, Jean Louise in To Kill a Mockingbird, The

Skin of Our Teeth, Our Town and Blood Wedding. She is also a member of Intrepid's Shakespearefor a New Generation Education Tour. Erin would like to thank Desha Crownover, Marianne

Zumberge, her family, friends and her newfound Intrepid family for their love and support.

Christopher Loren Renda (Benvolio) - Christopher Renda works at Mesa College Theater

Company as the master electrician. He is a proud member of the Intrepid Shakespeare Company.

His onstage credits include Taming of the Shrew and King John with Intrepid. Romeo and

Juliet with Gorilla Shakespeare Company. A View from the Bridge with Lamplighters Theater

Company. Titus Andronicus, Taming of the Shrew and Loves Labor Lost with San Diego

Shakespeare Festival. Angles Among Us with the Coronado Playhouse. Wild Oats, Grapes ofWrath, Room Service at MCTC. As the Gondola Sink with the Faultline Theater. His recent

backstage credits include Lighting design for Taming of the Shrew and King John with Intrepid. An

evening of short plays by the Asian American Reparatory Theater Company. As Much As You Can,

The Little Dog Laughed and Bent at the Diversionary theater (received a Patte award for Bent).

Hurley Burley with the Ion theatre Company; live microphone mixing for It's a wonderful life and A

little Night Music at the Cygnet Theater. Scenic design for Fat Pig and First Love with IntermissionProductions.

Jason D. Rennie (Fight Choreography) - Jason has served as Fight Choreographer/ Captain for

Intrepid, Kingsmen Shakespeare Co., Texas Shakespeare Co., Nevada Shakespeare Co.

and Charleston Guerrilla Theatre, among others. He is also the Associate Director for ISC, co­

directing productions of Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew and directing last year's Free Will reading

of Much Ado About Nothing. Jason resides in Los Angeles where he just finished roles in

Kingsmen's Winter's Tale and Comedy of Errors and Crown City Theatre's U.S.S. Pinafore. Next

up is his one-man dramatization of The Pit and the Pendulum for the "Drama After Dark" festival

at the Huntington in San Marino.

Michael Salimitari (Romeo) - Before moving to San Diego a year ago, Michael lived in Dallas,

Texas where he performed in many regional and college productions. He is originally from

Orange County and is very happy to be living in California again. This is his third production with

Intrepid. He loves to write and is currently pursuing a degree in literature. Michael wants to travel

the world acting, writing, and directing theatre and film.

Savvy Scopelleti (Nurse) - Was last seen in Intrepid's critically acclaimed King John

(Constance) and Taming of the Shrew (Grumio). Savvy is also a member artist of Intrepid's

education tour, Shakespeare For A Next Generation, touring San Diego and Orange County

with A Midsummer Night's, Romeo and Juliet, and Androcles and the Lion.

Kevin Six (Montague) - Kevin is the Playwright in Residence at Swedenborg Hall and the 2008winner of The Scripteasers' Script Tease of Short Plays. He was also part of the Emmy­

winning New Image Teen Theatre production on KPBS television. As a director and an actor, he

has appeared at Compass, Faultline, the Old Globe, Fritz, Marquis and San Diego Junior

theatres as well as on commercial and theatrical film projects.

Tiffany Tang (Lady Capulet) - A native San Diegan, Tiffany has performed in New York,

England, Massachusetts, and China. Now back in her hometown, she is grateful to Christy and

Sean for inviting her into this passionate community. She thanks her family for humoring her

decision to pursue an acting career and for their support for her as she sees it through. BA:

Mount Holyoke College, MFA: Actors Studio Drama School. To Jeanine Bennett and the

beginning of it all.

Reed Willard (Paris) - a Virginia native, graduated from James Madison University in 2006

where he minored in Theater. Since his cross-country move three years ago, Reed has acted in

numerous local theater productions including Psychopathia Sexualis (Compass Theatre), I'm

Not Rappaport (Scripps Ranch Theatre), Funny Little Thing (Lyceum Theatre) and most

recently Engaged (Talent to a Muse Theatre Co). This is Reed's debut show with Intrepid and

he is thrilled to be working with such a talented company and cast!

Christy Yael (Co-Director) • Intrepid Shakespeare Company: Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director,

Directing: King John, The Taming of the Shrew, Free Will, Acting: Lady Macbeth. Originally from

Canada, she has worked at numerous Shakespeare festivals and regional theatres throughout

the country. After moving to Los Angeles to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts,

she has worked with many local regional theatre companies including South Coast Repertory

Theatre, Shakespeare Orange County, Century City Playhouse, The Matrix Theatre, North

Coast Repertory, Cygnet Theatre, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Moonlight Stage Productions,

Compass Theatre, among others. Having studied and performed Shakespeare professionally

from the age of nine, favorite roles include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Beatrice in Much Ado

About Nothing, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Isabella inMeasure for Measure.
