Who and what is CoSIDA?
• The professional organization of more than 3,000 college athletics communicators
• The second-oldest college athletics management group in the nation, founded in 1955
• Advocate for the sports information / athletics communications profession
• Provider of educational programming, including Convention and Continuing Education Series
• Nominators and voters for the prestigious Academic All-America program
More than 4,000 student-athletes are honored annually for their academic and
athletic success in the nation’s oldest athletics academic award program.
Convention Programming
• Keynote speaker and panels on a variety of topics relevant to SIDs, including social media, video streaming, statistics, strategic communications and more
• Divisional Day for NCAA Divisions I, II & III, NAIA and two-year/community colleges
• Social events, including annual ESPN Reception and Exhibit Hall Kickoff Reception
• Academic All-America induction ceremony• Countless networking opportunities
Continuing Education Series
• Multiple FREE conference calls and webinars throughout the year on a variety of topics
• Continuing Education Series to be presented by Capital One beginning in 2015-16

On-line Community
CoSIDA will launch a dedicated on-line community site in 2015-16 to facilitate
communication, education and information-sharing among a variety of CoSIDA groups.
Look for more information in late fall and early winter.
New CoSIDA Magazine
CoSIDA will launch a new full-color quarterly magazine in February 2016, tentatively titled
CoSIDA 360
It will be designed to:• EDUCATE our membership • PROMOTE our association
• ADVOCATE for our profession• SHARE our stories
CoSIDA Mentoring Program
• At the 2015 Convention, CoSIDA launched a new Mentoring Program
• It connects CoSIDA members who want to share their knowledge and learn from others
• More than 40 mentor pairs were connected at the Convention

CoSIDA After Hours
• A new way for CoSIDA to connect SIDs in your areas
• CoSIDA hosted Indianapolis-area SIDs at a downtown luncheon and Denver-area SIDs at a Colorado Rockies game last month
