"Morning!" I feel like a little bit of everything. like the summarizing shreds of a blissful tragedy, like the last glimmering sunray, escaping monsoon clouds and unending oceans. like the silver drops from a mother's eye And, like the cobwebs of memories in a lost home. taking baby steps into an unending tunnel preventing myself from the darkness I could see, like a child in a factory who refuses to dream like the visage of a destitute, frightened by the reality of nightmares, acquainted with the futility of dreams. walls painted in despondence graffiti done in fading shades of life I saunter through the tunnel in fright and quite unexpectedly, begin to feel better than ever. then, like a toddler who wakes up abruptly from sleep by the sounds and visuals of an unfamiliar scene I foraged ahead for nothing into what appeared like nothingness until I heard someone's steps the sound amplified and I could see light again the end was near maybe, the start but I was shook yet again, this time, by a familiar voice I had to rise, it was school time and as they say, It isn't the tunnel that is an illusion but the light at the end of it! 'Morning,' mom said, and I ceased to reply. - Rithvik Singh Rathore For Royal Harbinger Call Mangi Lal Purohit - 9024311494 Soumya Singh of DPS, Udaipur ranked first in AILT Udaipur: Souma singh of Delhi Public School, Udaipur secured first place in the All India Law Entrance Test for the entry in National Law University. Dr.H.S.Chandalia

"Chappa Chappa Bhajapa" has once again resulted in a

sweeping victory for BJP in the state of Rajasthan. Nobody

ever expected such a landslide victory for BJP. Even the pro

BJP channels were assessing 19-20 seats for BJP and were

pretty sure that Barmer, Jodhpur, Kota and Rajsamand were

sure wins for Indian National Congress. Even Udaipur Lok

Sabha constituency was not being considered after only a

marginal win by Gulab Chand Kataria in the last Assembly

elections. Banswara was also a triangular contest and with

two MLAs, BTP was being perceived as a powerful contes-

tant. Whether it was EVM manipulation or an undercurrent,

only time will show but the reality is that BJP has won 25 seats

and once again the people of Mewar have given 100 per cent

mandate to this party.

Despite this this very important region of Mewar has been

once again ignored in the Union cabinet and its historical rival

Marwar has bagged all the three seats in the cabinet. Union

water resources minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is from

Jodhpur , Arjun Ram Meghwal , state minister is from Bikaner

and Kailash Chaudhary is from Barmer who defeated Manvendra

Singh. The entire tribal belt from Banswara to Sawai Madhopur

and Karauli did not find any representation in the union cab-

inet. The last BJP government also did not have any repre-

sentation of Mewar. Whether it is Narendra Modi or Amit Shah

or Rajnath Singh whenever they come to Udaipur, they speak

high sounding words about the glory of Mewar but when it

comes to making any practical contribution they fail.

Arjun Lal Meena of BJP got 59.92% votes defeating

Raghuveer Singh Meena by a huge margin who could get only

29.81 % of the votes cast by the people. Raghuveer Singh

Meena is a member of Congress Working Committee and is

close to the CM Ashok Gehlot. He belongs to ST and could

have been a good choice for Narendra Modi. C.P.Joshi from

Chittorgarh has defeated Dr. Girija Vyas in 2014 and has won

again defeating Gopal Singh Shekhawat of Indian National

Congress. His report card is good and could have been a good

choice. Subhash Bahedia has won with a record margin from

Bhilwara and is a BJP stalwart in the constituency. Diya Kumari

is from the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur and defeated

Devkinandan Gurjar , right hand of top Congress leader Dr.

C.P.Joshi. Banswara - Dungarpur is a reserved constituency

for the tribes. BTP had posed a serious challenge but BJP

could wrestle this seat also. This is the most backward part of

the state. Banswara has not seen a railway since indepen-

dence. All this shows that once they win, the BJP leaders too,

forget their promises to the people and cabinets are formed

on totally personal, caste and religious parameters. It is iron-

ical that the state government also does not have sufficient

representation of the region. Political parties shed crocodile

tears when they come to Udaipur, swear in the name of Pratap

but when it comes to the distribution of power Mewar has

always been neglected by BJP. When Vasundhara Raje was

Chief Minister, because of her rivalry with Gulab Chand Kataria,

Mewar was ignored. He was made Home Minister but had lit-

tle say in the matters of governance. The broad gauge rail-

way line from Udaipur to Ahmedabad has been a long term

demand but almost ten years have passed, it has not become

a reality, Dewas project is incomplete, Mewar tourist circuit

is still a dream and the Airport at Udaipur is yet to see an inter-

national flight. The train connectivity is also pretty low and the

tribal university which could have done something has been

converted into a routine affiliating university which has no role

to play in the field of research in tribal studies. Even other

universities are starved of funds and do not have sufficient

teachers. The contractual teachers have been exploited for

decades who play the real teachers' role. The river Ayad, and

the dream to make Udaipur Venice , now arouse a lot of laugh-

ter. Pratap Gaurav Kendra has been converted into RSS Gaurav

Kendra and has little to do with the real history of the region.

This year the lakes are dry and smart city of Udaipur is full of

potholes on the road. People can only give their votes in a

democracy. It is the party in power which has to deliver jus-

tice.

Agricultural universities should take the initiative to prepare the skill and innovation capac-

ities for entrepreneurship, which is a high-quality agricultural graduate. This will also solve the

problem of unemployment in the country.

Dr. J. P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Maharana Pratap Agriculture and Technology University,

Udaipur said in his autobiography that professionalism is very old practice. It's just your atti-

tude. It has two views - universal and approximate. Commitment and competence for profes-

sionalism is very important and teachers should stay away from egoism. Integrated and dedi-

cated efforts will be required for the beneficial educational professionalism in agriculture.

Welcoming the guests, Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Professor, Engineering and Technology

College and Coordinator, Institutional Development Plan, said that this workshop will give a

new direction to the teachers of the university, because here today, two former Vice Chancellors

and two current Vice Chancellors And distinguished personalities like Deputy Director of Indian

Agriculture Research Center, New Delhi are present. Yes

Two training manuals were also released on this occasion. Dr. Shanti Kumar Sharma, Regional

Research Director, conducted the program and at the end of the program Dr. Lokesh Gupta,

in-charge of training and Nodal Officer, Indian Agricultural Research Center, New Delhi, thanked

all the guests.

"Morning!"

I feel like a little bit of everything.

like the summarizing shreds of a blissful tragedy,

like the last glimmering sunray,

escaping monsoon clouds and unending oceans.

like the silver drops from a mother's eye

And,

like the cobwebs of memories

in a lost home.

taking baby steps into an unending tunnel

preventing myself from the darkness I could see,

like a child in a factory who refuses to dream

like the visage of a destitute,

frightened by the reality of nightmares,

acquainted with the futility of dreams.

walls painted in despondence

graffiti done in fading shades of life

I saunter through the tunnel in fright

and quite unexpectedly,

begin to feel better than ever.

then,

like a toddler who wakes up abruptly from sleep

by the sounds and visuals of an unfamiliar scene

I foraged ahead for nothing into what appeared like

nothingness

until I heard someone's steps

the sound amplified and I could see light again

the end was near

maybe, the start

but I was shook yet again,

this time,

by a familiar voice

I had to rise,

it was school time

and as they say,

It isn't the tunnel that is an illusion

but the light at the end of it!

'Morning,' mom said,

and I ceased to reply.
