economic vitality and enrich the quality of life

in the Upper Perkiomen Valley” is more than just

a mission statement. Our staff and volunteers

have many suggestions to share that will help

grow and strengthen your company. We will

Golf Outing, Ambassadors Council, Marketing and

Membership, PerkUp, Legislative Affairs, Business

Opportunities

Spreading the word about your business is an

integral component in business success. We offer

many communication vehicles, as well as network-

ing, to increase your visibility. These vehicles

include marketing, advertising and sponsorship.

“I firmly believe that no other organization creates as

many opportunities to come in contact with respected

members of the community like the UPV Chamber. The

more involved I've become the more I have benefited”.

- Frank Falk, Falk Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc.

Legislative Voice

The Legislative Affairs Council discusses local

issues and develops strategies to work with

federal, state and local officials. This council

ensures that our government officials will under-

stand what our Chamber business members

need. We represent seven municipalities in

the Upper Perkiomen Valley.

Partnerships

We partner with the Upper Perkiomen School

District, Perkiomen School, Western Montgomery

Career & Technology Center and Montgomery

County Community College to provide opportuni-

ties for both the business and educational

communities. These alliances help the business

community, students and schools work together

to prepare for a mutually beneficial future for

both the prospective employee and the employer.

MAJOR EVENTS

Business Expo & Job Fair

Selling out each spring with 50+ exhibits, the Expo is

open to the public and reaches the largest number of

community members of all Chamber events. Extensively

promoted throughout the Valley, this event is visited by

more than 500 people. An annual theme adds interest

and continuity among exhibits. Registration begins in

January and offers various exhibit spaces. In 2019, food

trucks and a job fair featuring 20 businesses were added

to the event.

Sponsorship Investment: $200-$3,000

Golf Outing and Clambake

Seen as one of the most successful and favored outings

in the area, this September event is always a fun-filled

day of both golf and networking. The scramble format

makes it open and inviting to all. Sponsors and volunteers

have opportunities for direct interaction with every golfer,

allowing even non-golfers to spend time on the course.

The day ends with a course-side clambake for all mem-

bers. Registration for golf begins in March and is limited

to 120 people.

events. It provides the opportunity for business members

to conduct high-impact networking while enjoying great

food, drinks and entertainment. Creative venues and

local restaurants add to the excitement of this event.

Attendance ranges from 90-125 members and guests.

NETWORKING EVENTS

February and March Monthly Meetings

Updated Chamber information is communicated

at these regular monthly meetings. However, focus

is placed on face-to-face networking, particularly

the March luncheon, which includes a fast-paced,

ice-breaking networking activity.

Sponsorship Investment: $375

Registration: $25

LinkUp Breakfast Roundtables

These sessions are high-impact networking opportunities.

LinkUp was established to facilitate face-to-face intro-

ductions at a leadership level (owners, department

heads and decision-makers) in a small-group setting.

LinkUp helps members build relationships, encourage

referrals and learn more about each other. LinkUp is

open to all members on an “opt in” basis.

Sponsorship Investment: $350

Registration: Complimentary

Happy Hours

Informal and complimentary events, these late afternoon

gatherings provide the opportunity to mingle with old

friends, make new connections and invite guests to a

low-key-but-lively Chamber function. Approximately

five Happy Hours are held annually, each at a different

member restaurant. The schedule is subject to venue

availability.

Sponsorship Investment: $300 Annually

Registration: Complimentary

Business Development Seminars

Averaging two hours each, these affordable and

informative sessions cover a variety of disciplines. Some

are presentations, some are workshops, but all have

a goal of building the personal skills of employees at

various employment levels. The typically small class size

elicits active participation from all, particularly during

the question-and-answer period. Attendance varies

based on the topic offered. Sponsorship Investment: $1,000 for 6-8 seminars
