Our eye examination is a 12 point check which includes:• Vision test• Refraction (eye power measurement)• Corneal shape assessment• Corneal thickness measurement• External eye assessment• Dry eye test• Eye pressure (glaucoma)• Eye muscle assessment• Color vision test• Amsler Grid

After dilation:• Natural lens assessment (cataract)• Retinal (nerve) assessment

Preparation before Eye Examination:Prior to the eye examination, please stop wearing your contact lenses for:

A) 1 week (soft lenses)B) 2 weeks (soft toric lenses)C) 3 weeks (hard lenses)

During the examination, there is a 1 to 1 counseling session with the Optometrist. An eye examination report is given upon completion of the examination.

An eye examination enables our Optometrists to examine the overall health status of your eyes. At Optimax, our eye examinations are done comprehensively with pupil dilation. Therefore, it takes more than an hour to complete. The procedure is gentle, painless and harmless.
