year. 75% of that can be recycled.
A team of student volunteers from The Do Something Club
will be responsible for classroom collection of
recyclable goods . Two bins will be placed in each room (one for paper, one
for plastic and cans) Our student volunteers will weekly collect the recyclables to make sure they are disposed of properly. GO GREEN!
Kudos to the Environmental Club for recycling during lunch! If you’re into
composting, SEE: Mr. Ius for details.

HEALTH MASTER CLUBUnder Advisement of Dr. Tony Moody
Every one deals with insecurities about their bodies- and a positive body image is even harder to come by if you are young adult dealing with a changing body, and new pressures from peers and society to look a certain way. Our program will encourage students to take a pledge to put their health above all else. Dr. Moody’s program will teach us how to make that a reality.
STOP. LOOK. LISTEN.
HUNGER
More than 1 in 10 households in
the United States
experience hunger or the
risk of hunger.
Between 1.3 and 2.8 million runaway and homeless youth live on the streets of America.
HOMELESSNESS
The Changarawe Project was started in 1998 with the aim of providing free nursery education for the many orphaned and destitute children of Changarawe village, Morogoro region, Tanzania. The Project has grown steadily since 1998 and the school is now complemented by three other initiatives - a Micro-Finance Scheme for Women, the Nigel Lloyd Fund for orphan support and a Bibi Club which is support for the grandmothers; many of whom are the cartakers of orphans.
Be part of Free The Children’s 10 By 10 challenge, and help us create a better world. Together in 2010, we will collectively raise funds to develop 10 full communities overseas, and volunteer 1 million hours. Here’s our plan of action.
