Cherry Republic is headquartered in the Cherry Capital of the
world, growing more than 1 million cherry trees and 75% of
the nation’s sour cherry crop.
With all these fresh cherries, it is no wonder our Cherry
Republic Ambassadors have been making the most unique,
fresh and high quality cherry creations in the world for over
25 years!
About Us In the summer of 1989, Bob Sutherland began selling t-
shirts out of the trunk of his car. The shirts were printed
with the tagline, “Cherry Republic: Life, Liberty, Beaches, &
Pie.” Bob ended up selling over 3,000 of those shirts that
summer, and 25 years later the Cherry Republic has grown
into the flourishing business it is today. In addition to the
retail side of the business; Cherry Republic has a thriving
mail-order department, with over 11 catalogs mailed
throughout the year to hundreds of thousands of
recipients. The picture to the left is a tribute to Bob’s
humble beginnings. His old car is prominently placed on
property for visitors to admire.

The Wholesale Program Cherry Republic since its start has been in the business of
creating special products and experiences in the great Michigan
Northwest. Over the years we have developed a strong brand
and core of preforming products that we produce with great
success and consistency. These are the products that make up
the majority of sales in our own retail locations, mail order and
wholesale outlets. Between these great products, service and
brand you will find great success with our line of cherry creations
and be able to treat your customers to a truly unique, quality
cherry experience.

The Products:
Salsa- Original Salsa has been our best seller for years and is the per-
fect balance of sweet and heat. Not much for heat - try our Mild Salsa.
Need that extra burst of spice? Then Hot was made just for you!
Dried Cherries- Chocolate covered cherries are everyone’s favorite!
We start with a plump Montmorency cherry grown in northern Michigan,
dry it so it holds all of it’s cherry goodness and then it’s on to the copper
panner to be coated in rich, decadent chocolate.
Toppings and Sauces– We make everything out of cherries
Jams, Jellies, BBQ & more each with its own individual greatness.
Candy- We celebrate the cherry in everything we do, so there is no
surprise that cherry is the featured flavor in all of our candies, whether
you select the tartness of our Sour Patches or the sweet goodness of our
gummies.

product/price sheet.

Restrictions and applicant guidelines:
Those eligible to order Cherry Republic products at wholesale prices must meet the following criteria: You must have a storefront location and valid Tax ID Number.
These businesses include, but are not limited to gourmet grocery stores, specialty food stores, gift stores, seasonal farm markets, gift basket businesses, and restaurants.
Products that are purchased from Cherry Republic at wholesale prices are for resale at or
above SRP in your specified location only.
Cherry Republic prohibits resale of our products in the following ways: Gift/trade/holiday shows of any kind (without prior written consent)
Distribution to businesses other than your own Selling overstock or short sale items to companies such as Amazon, Ebay, etc.
Terms of Sale:
Cherry Republic establishes credit with a credit card. All major cards are accepted. After credit is established by three initial orders, terms of Net 30 days can be requested.
Orders can also be prepaid with a check or money order. A waiting period of two weeks is required from receipt of check to shipment of order. A $25.00 charge will be applied
for any returned checks. Credit may also be established through filling out our credit application and being approved for Net 30 terms. Payment is expected within previously
arranged terms. Past due accounts may be subject to the following, with prior
notification: charges to credit card on file, change of payment terms, holding of pending orders until payment is received, or placement with a collections agency to recover
funds. Late balances will be subject to a 1.5% interest charge. All sales are final. We do not buy back, refund, or credit for unsold product.

Pricing and Availability: Prices are subject to change without prior notification. Products MUST be resold at or
above Cherry Republic’s suggested retail price. Please call for availability of large quantity orders. All orders will be shipped within three (5) business days from the time
the order is received. If there is an issue with the order placed and can not be shipped within this time, a customer service representative will contact you within 24 hours.
Shipping & Handling:
It is our goal to provide the best services to you our customer, and your customers. This includes timely shipping and excellent handling. It is our goal to make certain that
your products arrive in good condition, and are ready to be sold.
We offer flat rate shipping via FedEx Ground within Michigan and special freight and out of state shipping rates. Products will be shipped or delivered to the address specified
on your submitted application only. We do not drop ship products. You are responsible for notifying us with any address changes. Any items returned due to
incorrect address information will be paid at dealer’s expense.
Minimum orders and enforcement of the minimum:
Your first order must exceed $550. We have found that the more you have available to sell, the more you will sell. This amount will ensure that the Cherry Republic section of
your store will stand out to your customers. If you have a larger section, the products will soon take a larger place in the eyes of your customers. First time orders that do
not meet the minimum order of $550 will not be processed. There is no minimum order after your first order.
It is our requirement that a store purchase at least $1000 worth of product in a year. Stores purchasing less than $1000 will be reviewed and may not be eligible for re-order
in the following year. Notices will be sent out in the spring of each year if you are not meeting our minimum requirements.
First Order Starter Kit: At Cherry Republic it is important to us to help you start on the right foot and be
successful at selling our products! This is why we have established a wholesale starter kit for you. We have chosen our best selling products, which we recommend you order
as your initial order if you are unfamiliar with our product line. This is the best way for you to start your Cherry Republic business. This is only a suggestion if it does not fit the
needs of your audience, you can adjust to meet your needs.

Shelf Life Management / Julian Dates
All of our products should be marked with a white sticker (bagged or jarred items) or small white
etching (some glass jars). This number is a reflection of the day the product was produced or pack-
aged. The first two numbers are the year and the last three numbers are the day of the year. For ex-
ample, “09012” means this product was produced in 2009, on the 12th day of the year, or January
12. You may then use this date to count forwards or backwards to find the age of the product. To
keep the freshest product available for your customers rotate new stock to the back of your selves
when it arrives and the older product to the front.
